Pavel piggybacks off his allies' critical hits, hitting the whole enemy team and gaining action gauge whenever anyone on his side lands a crit. His third skill ignores damage sharing and penetrates defense, which hits especially hard against low-attack targets.

A balance patch boosted his action-gauge gain further, so his build now leans almost entirely into attack while keeping just enough speed to interrupt the enemy.

A young member of the Perland Raiders. As the son of pathfinders through ancient ruins, Pavel inherited an exceptional talent for tracking and navigation.

He is incredibly loyal to Perland, the largest city in Cidonia, for providing his previously nomadic family with safety, and is frequently trusted with important missions for the Raiders.

In Orbis Gladiatorium - Preliminaries and Call of the Heavens, Pavel first appears at Lefundos Port with Cerise, where Ras runs into them while Arky is suffering from severe seasickness after overeating on the voyage.

Pavel greets Ras warmly, confirms that he and Cerise also entered the Orbis Gladiatorium, and it is then made explicit that both of them successfully made it through to the main tournament stages.

Once the competitors gather under F. I. D.

E. L. I. S. , Pavel continues to appear as part of Ras’s circle of fellow participants.

He heads toward the accommodations with Ras, reacts dryly to Ruiza’s harsh opening speech by calling it intense, and joins Cerise in discussing the history of the first Orbis Gladiatorium.

In that conversation, Pavel explains that the first tournament’s winner became famous not only for overwhelming strength but also because he vanished immediately after his final victory, leaving behind the trophy and prize money while keeping his identity secret.

These scenes frame Pavel as a capable contender who has made it far enough in the Gladiatorium to stand among the main entrants, and he defeats Yoonryoung in the quarterfinals before being eliminated by Romann in the semifinals, placing him among the strongest competitors in the official rounds, while also showing him as observant and informed about the tournament’s recent history.

In Monolith Showdown, Pavel’s role remains limited, but the Pyramid’s mirrored bracket places him on Notos’s side at the Judgment of Pride, where he becomes one of the Protectors defeated during Notos’s own advance toward the Chamber of Proof.
