Is Tactical Archetype Coli good?
Tactical Archetype Coli bursts enemies down through her own debuff kit. Her ultimate grants her Overload, a sharp boost to attack and speed, while bombing and frostbiting every enemy for a delayed detonation, and her opener inflicts and later sets off bleed on top of that. Her passive fires whenever a teammate connects with a single-hit attack, giving that teammate haste while
Coli answers back by knocking down an enemy's defense and clearing a buff, gaining action gauge for herself in the process, so she works best next to allies who often attack one target at a time.

- Opening skill inflicts and detonates bleed

Lore
In Orbis Gladiatorium - Preliminaries and Call of the Heavens, Tactical Archetype Coli is introduced through Ruiza’s memories as an Automatic Doll manufactured in Politia specifically for F.
I. D. E. L. I. S. and assigned to serve as Ruiza’s adjutant.
Although Ruiza initially dismisses her as a machine, Coli immediately demonstrates her worth in combat by adapting to Ruiza’s attack patterns, analyzing terrain with precision, and proving fast enough for Ruiza to conclude that she is the perfect fit for the organization.
After testing her, Ruiza accepts her formally, arranges for technicians to keep her in peak condition, and learns that Coli is equipped with systematic training capabilities, further tying her to F.
I. D. E. L. I. S. ’s purpose of preparing defenders for Orbis.
The story also gives Coli a quieter supporting role in Orbis Gladiatorium itself.
During one scene with Ruiza, she appears overcharged and unusually vulnerable, yet still offers to investigate the mysterious previous champion whose disappearance and interest in the Axe trouble Ruiza.
Later, during the opening ceremony, Coli explains the significance of the Axe of Heavenly Mandate, identifying it as an ancient weapon excavated in Wintenberg and donated by the King of Lefundos to honor the champion.
By the awards ceremony, she remains part of the leadership circle surrounding Ruiza and the Gladiatorium’s conclusion, placing her close to the story’s transition into the Monolith crisis.
In Monolith Showdown, Coli becomes one of the central supporting characters from the moment Notos drags Ras and the others into the Pyramid.
She attempts to deploy a large-scale barrier during the initial attack, quickly identifies Notos as the vanished champion of the last tournament, and helps Ras understand that the others have been rendered unconscious and turned into Protectors by fragments of Notos’s power.
From there, she stays at Ras’s side as he accepts Notos’s game and begins reclaiming the special powers hidden in the Pyramid’s sectors.
As Ras advances, Coli repeatedly acts as both guide and tactical support.
She shares Cerise’s combat data, scans defeated Protectors, reasons through Ras’s fragmented memories, recommends using the Pyramid’s power against strong opponents like Romann, and helps manage captured enemies such as Zeno and Ventus while Ras moves forward.
These scenes consistently present her as calm, analytical, and highly reliable under pressure.
Coli also serves as one of the story’s clearest moral checkpoints.
After Romann is freed, she directly asks Ras what he would do if he defeated Notos and kept the Monolith, warning that as a member of F.
I. D. E. L. I. S. she might have to neutralize him depending on his answer.
That moment reflects lessons she learned from Ruiza: first, that she was not created to make judgments on her own, and later, that any judgment must begin from the “happiness of the people.
” When Ras answers that he wants to save everyone and does not value the Monolith’s godlike power above the people who want to protect the world, Coli accepts that answer and continues supporting him.
Her bond with Ruiza is especially important in the later sectors.
Flashbacks show Ruiza teaching Coli both ruthless tactical thinking and the principle that true judgment must prioritize the people’s happiness.
When Ruiza appears as a Protector, Coli insists on facing her herself because she understands Ruiza’s patterns better than anyone, defeats her, and is praised by Ruiza as the one person who truly understands her.
Ruiza then tells Ras to seek the truth from the Monolith, while Coli senses incoming danger and prepares for the next phase of the struggle.
Coli’s most important action comes near the end of Monolith Showdown.
While Ras is in the Monolith’s room uncovering the truth about Notos, Coli stays behind to block intruders and ends up facing Schniel and Tywin under Notos’s control.
Realizing that her body is breaking down and remembering Ruiza’s lesson that victory may require sacrificing what is yours, she resolves to become the final piece in a checkmate and launches a last attack, declaring that she does not care if she can never move again so long as it ensures happiness for everyone.
After Ras returns, he finds her barely conscious; she asks only whether he achieved his objective before shutting down.
Schniel later promises that Flan has already summoned the finest technicians to repair her, and Ras explicitly states that Coli’s sacrifice allowed him to defeat the final Protector and move on to the battle with Notos.
Overall, the stories portray Tactical Archetype Coli as more than a support machine.
She begins as F. I. D. E. L. I. S. ’s efficient adjutant and Ruiza’s carefully tested subordinate, but in Monolith Showdown she develops into Ras’s most dependable partner: a tactician, guard, moral failsafe, and self-sacrificing protector whose actions make the final victory possible.
