Rinak
5-star/Earth
Introduction
Rinak is a 5-star Earth character in Epic Seven. Faction: 6th World Heir.
By game mode, Rinak is B in PvP.
Other Earth characters in Epic Seven: Adin, Adlay, Ains, Alencia, Armin, Arunka and 51 more.
Is Rinak good?
Rinak deals more damage the faster she gets, since both her first and third skills scale off her own speed and always punch through enemy defense, even though neither skill is capable of a critical strike or a crash hit. Her second skill clears a target's buffs, knocks down their action gauge, slaps on Plunder, and hands Rinak a bonus turn, setting up her third skill for another defense-piercing hit plus a flat 7,000 bonus that lands on every enemy regardless of accuracy.
That third skill comes at a cost though, wiping her own buffs and stunning herself for a turn, so she benefits from a teammate who can clear debuffs.
Strengths
- Damage on her first and third skills scales with her own speed
- Both those skills ignore enemy defense outright
- Second skill sets up an extra turn into a big flat-damage follow-up
Weaknesses
- Using her third skill wipes her own buffs and stuns herself for a turn

Background
A part-timer at a private investigator's office in the back alleys of Lefundos.
After Robin took her in, Rinak developed an admiration for women with auras that exuded danger.
While passing her days living with Robin, who had already washed her hands of her underworld past, Rinak is chosen to become an Heir by the Guardian Hanien.
Robin / Robin / Longing: Rinak's silly guardian.
Though Robin is no more than the local deadbeat these days, she used to be a magnificent villain who controlled the underworld.
Guard Captain Krau / Guard Captain Krau / Friendly: The nagging old dude, Rinak gets irritated every time she sees him because he and Robin are practically two peas in a pod.
Victorika / Victorika / Friendly: A blabbemouth but also a trove of treasure.
Rinak is just waiting for Victorika to get distracted so she can pilfer her belongings.
Lore
A Beast in Steel Jaws
In A Beast in Steel Jaws, Rinak is introduced as an eight-year-old girl whose parents are Politian scholars hiding in Lefundos’s Drifter’s District.
At first she appears only as the target of an abduction job, but the deeper Robin investigates, the more it becomes clear that Rinak is at the center of a larger scheme.
Her parents had developed a cure after she contracted the plague spreading through the district, and Lycraia’s people were exploiting them to produce medicine while also pursuing Rinak herself because her blood could be used to recreate that cure.
After a bombardment destroys the Black Night’s base and kills her father, Rinak is left hidden away until Robin finds her.
From that point on, Rinak becomes the emotional center of the story.
She is frightened, distrustful, and convinced that adults only use or abandon her, which makes her immediately wary of Robin and Mark.
Even when Robin tells her that her father asked her to take the girl somewhere safe, Rinak refuses to believe her.
This distrust is not treated as childish stubbornness, but as the natural result of everything that has already happened to her.
As Robin keeps Rinak with her, their relationship slowly begins to change.
Rinak overhears the adults discussing what to do with her and grows even more suspicious, but Robin gradually softens around her.
What begins as a practical decision turns into something more personal, especially because Rinak’s fear reminds Robin of her own childhood under Lycraia.
Later, when Robin tells her that she will take care of her from now on, Rinak insists that they seal that promise properly, showing her the promise ritual her parents used.
This moment gives Rinak an important role in the story: she is not only someone in need of protection, but also the person who draws Robin into making a sincere promise she can no longer treat as empty words.
Rinak’s vulnerability then becomes the catalyst for the story’s climax.
While Robin is away, Lycraia’s people attack the hideout, kill Mark, and abduct Rinak.
In captivity, Rinak is told by the Lycraia Boss that her parents are dead, that her blood is worth a fortune, and that Robin will never come to save her.
Even so, Rinak still says that Robin will come because she promised.
That faith becomes one of the story’s most important emotional turns, because it is what Robin ultimately chooses to live up to when she storms Lycraia and rejects the hold the organization has kept over her for so long.
By the end of the story, Rinak is the person who gives Robin a reason to break fully from Lycraia and choose a different life.
After being rescued, Rinak says that adults always lie and leave, but Robin answers that weak people lie because they make promises they cannot keep, while she is strong enough to protect her.
In that sense, Rinak is far more than the child Robin rescues.
She is the person whose existence forces Robin to confront what promises, trust, and protection truly mean, and the one who makes it possible for Robin to imagine a future not ruled by fear.
Epic Seven X Frieren - Beyond Journey’s End
In Epic Seven X Frieren - Beyond Journey’s End, Rinak does not take part in the present-day action, but she becomes one of the story’s most important emotional figures through Ras’s memories and Robin’s forgotten past.
When Robin appears as an enemy inside the dungeon, Ras does not simply try to defeat her.
Instead, he tells her about Rinak, saying that she was someone Robin cherished more than her own life and an Heir he himself failed to save.
Although Robin initially rejects the idea, the name stirs something in her because it matches the nameless girl who has been appearing in her dreams.
From that moment on, Rinak becomes the key to breaking through Robin’s cold detachment.
The story shows Rinak directly only in a brief remembered scene, where she apologizes and says she is glad she was able to do so.
Even in that short appearance, she is presented as gentle and sincere, which matches how Ras later speaks about her.
He tells Robin that even though Rinak died, something of her still lives on in Robin’s heart, and insists that Rinak would never forgive Robin if she chose a path that would bring suffering to others.
In this way, Rinak’s memory becomes a moral guide within the story, influencing Robin’s decision even after all conscious remembrance of her has been lost.
Rinak’s importance grows further after Robin agrees to hear more.
Ras tells her at length about how precious Rinak was to her in the previous world, how bravely Rinak fought as an Heir against the Acolytes, and what Robin chose to do after Rinak’s death.
Later, he takes Robin to the village where Rinak died, even though no grave remains there.
Standing in the place where Rinak closed her eyes, Robin reflects on the strange emptiness of hearing about someone she once loved and failed to protect, while Fern gently tells her that Rinak would only want her to be happy.
Through these scenes, Rinak’s role expands from a lost memory into the emotional force that helps Robin turn away from cynicism and reconnect with compassion.
By the end of the story, Rinak’s influence remains active even without her physical presence.
When the village chief later gives Robin a dagger found in the forest, Robin recognizes in her thoughts that it was something Rinak once carried.
This confirms that the path Robin followed in the story has led her back to tangible traces of Rinak’s existence.
Taken as a whole, Rinak’s role in the story is that of a lost but enduring bond: a fallen Heir whose memory has vanished from the world, yet whose kindness, importance, and emotional legacy still shape the choices of the living.
