Background
Harper is a playable Hunter in Solo Leveling: ARISE.
Charlotte's hot-headed younger sister and a member of the Helper's strike squad.
She's the muscle of every prank the sisters pull.
Dossier
Dossier #01: A Smile Amidst the Chaos
The house lights go out and the stage is set.
She waited so long for this moment.
It's showtime.
Harper headed to the younger children's bedrooms and checked her escape route to make sure everyone was asleep in case something went wrong.
Inside the bedroom, the sleeping cots were placed close enough that only small children could pass between them.
The only sounds she could hear were soft snores.
Harper quietly approached, holding the pen her sister Charlotte had given her.
She stopped in front of Marie's bed.
Marie's eyes were swollen from all the crying and pouting she'd done that day, acting like a spoiled brat.
Looking at her flushed cheeks, Harper remembered how Marie had hogged Sister Millie's attention, and it made her want to give her a good smack.
But things needed to go according to Charlotte's plan, or there would be trouble.
"I'm a dummy who can do nothing but cry.
Call me a crybaby."
She wrote on Marie's face, barely holding back her laughter.
Having completed her mission, Harper slipped into the night like a quiet assassin.
Success!
The next day, there was a commission at the orphanage.
Amidst the commotion, Harper smiled innocently.
Dossier #02: The Muscle
Each sister had her role to fulfill their joint operation.
The duties were evenly divided.
They walked calmy for an entertaining target to stumble into their sights.
They never had to seek them out.
When she found an amusing target, Charlotte would quickly brainstorm a deviously entertaining plan.
Charlotte would then verbalize her perfect plan with her signature nonchalance.
Picking up what she was putting down, Harper would jump into action.
Charlotte always watched from a distance, seemingly indifferent.
Then, when their prank was successfully executed, she would briefly flash a mischievous smile.
Harper, on the other hand, would take the lead to execute the prank, and flash an innocent smile that would soften the hearts of her victims before they could get mad at her.
Dossier #03: That Woman
"I enjoy teasing people more, but..."
When Sister Millie asked the sisters to be protectors, Harper wasn't very happy about it.
Protecting others was the exact opposite of what she enjoyed: pulling pranks.
However, she couldn't refuse the duty Sister Millie had given her.
"Okay. I'll just have to make it fun."
Sister Millie's plan turned the girls from troublemakers to peacekeepers, and the orphanage was better for it.
At least... Until a gate was discovered.
Sister Millie had initially entered the dungeon alone that day she lost her life.
Though the sisters had lost what was more precious to them than anything else in the world, they didn't have time to mourn.
After they escaped, they immediately made a report to the Hunters Association.
That a woman was killing hunters as if she was a magic beast!
After hearing the sister's explanations, the Hunters Association staff explained that she was likely the infamous serial killer, X, and that a major guild needed to be involved to catch the woman.
Since there was no way for them to get to the remote orphanage in time, the girls needed to flee.
The sisters realized that even though the culprit was just a short distance away, they still didn't have the strength they needed to catch her.
They immediately returned to the church.
All they could do was pray.
They prayed desperately for the gate to close and for X to go away.
Just like that, the dawn broke.
Dossier #04: On the Hunt
"Did the heavens hear our prayers?" They wondered.
As soon as the sun came up, the sisters looked for the gate.
It was gone.
So was X.
Their surroundings were peaceful and quiet, as if the tragedy had never come to pass.
After the events of that night, the sisters ran away.
They began to raid dungeons all across England.
They noticed that dungeons auctioned to the Hunters Association or the guilds weren't targeted.
X only targeted sites where they wouldn't have the strength to hold her responsible.
She should have been easier to find, they thought, but they wouldn't manage it.
They heard stories about her work on the news, but their paths never crossed.
So the sisters pushed themselves harder.
When raiding, they scoured entire dungeons thoroughly in case X was hiding in one and waiting for them.
As a result, they often were targeted by hunter-criminals or strike squads with ill intentions and would suffer from serious injuries.
Even though they possessed powerful abilities, they couldn't always react quickly enough, or predict their opponents' moves.
Dossier #05: The Time of Retribution
Thankfully, they were soon able to recruit a component healer.
Although the healer was a gloomy oddball who was only made decisions based on card readings, she never asked about the sister's past or questioned their actions.
The sisters couldn't ask for a better team member.
She was naive, but possessed decent support abilities.
They felt they wouldn't have any regrets, even if they parted ways after achieving their goal.
So the sisters created the "the Helpers", an unofficial strike squad dedicated to luring X out.
If they could cause a scene, clear dungeons with style, and make a name for themselves, they figured they might be able to meet X again someday.
And on that day, Sister Millie's precious pendant would be theirs again, and they would keep her memory alive, finally fulfilling their duty as protectors.
