Is Lucas good?
Lucas leans on AoE, with Full Burst hitting every enemy while also drawing cards to bail out a bad hand, and Large-Capacity Magazine generates a bullet every turn that hits the whole field and applies a debuff. That makes him effective against waves of enemies or summon-heavy bosses, but he carries few shield cards of his own, so his survivability depends on a tankier teammate.
He pairs naturally with his brother 
Luke, since the two upgrade each other's bullet cards, and Janet adds more bullet-card damage on top.
