Kawerik is a 5-star Fire character in Epic Seven. Faction: Witchaven.

Kawerik's second skill strips an enemy's buffs and delays their cooldown while granting himself stealth and a speed boost, useful for both disrupting a key threat and covering his own thin bulk. His damage actually scales off his own speed, so a fast build pays off twice over, and his third skill silences the whole enemy team to shut down their plans.

He's run either at the very top of the speed chart to go first safely, or just under max speed while leaning on raw damage, both aimed at PvP.

An abandoned child found by magical scholars of Witchaven, Kawerik enlisted in the Enhanced Magic Division and made important contributions in the Archdemon War that Diene took part in.

However, the side effects of the experiment have left him suffering from paralysis that is slowly killing him and have turned him into a cold-blooded contract killer.

In 7th Anniversary Festivities: Bloomtide's Special Courier, Kawerik does not participate in the story as a present-day traveler or speaker in person, but he becomes crucial through a bundle of old, damaged letters that Merurin asks Ras to deliver to Vivian in Witchaven.

When Ras explains that these are letters that never reached their destination because of the magic barrier that once cut Ritania off from the other continents, Vivian is initially confused, until she sees Kawerik’s name among them.

Ras then says he believes these were letters Kawerik wrote during his time in Ritania, hoping they would someday reach her even across that separation.

Kawerik’s only direct “appearance” in the story comes through the contents of one of those letters.

In it, he apologizes for not being able to keep his promise to return soon, wonders whether the balloon carrying the message will ever reach Vivian’s hands, and says that he still holds hope that one day she will read his words.

He also admits that he cannot be there for her and asks, despite feeling ashamed to do so, whether he still has a place by her side.

Through this letter, Kawerik is portrayed as deeply regretful, affectionate, and still emotionally tied to Vivian even across distance and delay.

The effect of his words on Vivian defines his role in the story’s ending.

After reading the letter, she calls him a “big dummy” and sincerely thanks Ras for bringing it.

Later, as the balloons rise over Witchaven, she quietly wonders whether Kawerik will be there when the letter finally reaches its destination.

In this way, Kawerik functions in the story as an absent but powerful emotional presence: someone whose words have been delayed for a very long time, but whose feelings remain strong enough to shape the story’s final and most heartfelt moment.
