Is Sage Baal good?
Sage Baal carries a solid sleep debuff and can also strip one buff off an enemy, giving him some disruption value. His ultimate's damage only really matters once his own health is already low though, and like any sleep-based kit, he loses a lot of value against enemies with immunity.

Skills
3Evil Spirit's Call
Summons an evil spirit to attack the enemy, with a 75% chance to put the enemy to sleep for 1 turn. When the target is asleep after the attack, increases the caster’s Combat Readiness by 20%. This skill does not trigger a Dual Attack.
Cloud of Ruin
Attacks all enemies by summoning storm clouds, with a 100% chance to dispel one buff and an 85% chance to put them to sleep. When this skill is available, increases the caster's Combat Readiness by 20% at the end of the enemy's turn.
Eye of Death
Attacks with an evil eye. When the enemy is defeated, silences all remaining enemies for 1 turn. Penetrates Defense, but cannot trigger a critical hit. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s lost Health.
