It was until I made my first blade with the help of my father. At the time all my blisters and burns couldn't be any less important.

I just couldn't take my eyes off the blade. It was straight, sharp, and reflected a bright ray of light. The freezing cold blade was a work of burning fire, like a femme fatale, mysterious and dangerous.

From that day on I fell in love with swordsmithing. Every time I felt pride in my work, my father's swords would smash my confidence.
