Is J good?
J is a 6-star Beast Riposte unit and a strong generalist sustain: his counter card gives the team mini-shields, his ripostes and ultimate deal real damage once ramped, his debuff card grants a team-wide damage bonus, and he cleanses and reduces damage for everyone.
He applies mass Burn well, suiting 
Lopera or Lingering Glow, can take more extra actions in a turn than anyone, and needs only one AP every three turns. He's weaker when enemies rarely attack directly, and cleansing his self-Burn cuts his power.
