A cynical and quiet man, Sez Gaien a living weapon known to many as the Berserker.

After gaining power from an Acolyte to escape the Homunculus experiments, he was branded a mass murderer and has been running ever since.

Aloof Lifeguard: Sez has been sent to Reingar on a temporary assignment to help the Public Security Club.

Despite being dressed like a lifeguard, don't expect him to even bat an eyelid if you start drowning.

Lore

In Welcome to Oasis Land, Sez appears only briefly, and specifically in his Aloof Lifeguard suit, during the scenes showing Oasis Land after its restoration and reopening.

He does not participate in the story’s central conflict involving Frida, the Pfalz family, or the effort to revive the park, but instead appears as part of the crowd of visitors whose presence confirms that Oasis Land has truly returned to life as a successful summer attraction.

His small role is tied to the relaxed beachside atmosphere of the reopened park.

Sez is shown handing a drink to Seaside Bellona, who remarks on how warm and temperate Oasis Land is despite the freezing cold elsewhere on the continent.

In response, Sez calmly notes that he heard there is a special device responsible for that, linking his brief appearance to the park’s magical environment and reinforcing the sense that visitors are actively experiencing the restored attractions and comforts of the place.

He then dryly comments that Aramintha is clearly having the time of her life when she excitedly suggests playing beach volleyball.

Taken as a whole, Sez has no independent arc in Welcome to Oasis Land.

His cameo functions as part of the reopening montage, where the story uses familiar summer-themed characters to show that Oasis Land is once again full of activity, comfort, and cheerful visitors.
