The "Princess" has fully embraced her role: she is now the "Divine Mother," tasked with nurturing the "Divine Fetus"—the pivotal being within the Order of the Seafarers.

She was once a girl who desperately sought freedom, embarking on the same escape journey aboard the Sona-nyl as documented by Mythag's Murphy.

Yet, in a world devoid of benevolent keepers, fate brutally broke the noble neck of the young swan.

Her twisted bloodline entangled her without respite; even the death of her body could not offer escape.

She forces herself to repeat, again and again, "I am the noble Divine Mother," using the phrase as a mere act of self-suggestion and persuasion.

Only obedience remains, only the compulsion to obey.

To submit to the false oracle, to yield to the absurd fate.

Only then, from the endless bitterness of her existence, can she reluctantly savor a hint of sweet, fleeting fantasy.

She always arrogantly refers to herself as the "Divine Mother," coldly and hostilely keeping everyone outside her safe perimeter.

It's difficult for those meeting her for the first time to connect her with the spoiled little princess.

"But they are essentially the same person," the Keeper, however, stubbornly insists to everyone.

"You'd know if you ever saw her wolf down a cupcake alone."

Due to an unusual number of floating sperm whale carcasses in our route, we were forced to land on this cursed island of ice.

Below a glacial waterfall in the south shore fjord, the expedition team discovered the remains of a fifty-foot-long cephalopod.

Its body was a deep indigo blue, densely covered in phosphorescent, luminous blue concentric rings, the edges of which secreted a thin layer of mucus.

After we sampled and purified the substance, an unsettling quantity of blue crystals precipitated from the mucus.

The suckers on the creature's arms exceeded two feet in diameter, and the inner walls of the suckers were etched with patterns resembling an unknown script.

The main nerve cord was in a semi-transparent, gelatinous state, maintaining a faint pulse even in the -30°C environment (see attached Figure D-7).

Dr. Harris, the accompanying biologist, attempted to sample from the nerve cord, but the moment the scalpel made contact, the entire carcass instantly disintegrated into powder.

Indigo-blue dust became visible, suspended throughout the laboratory.

During the voyage home, Dr. Harris developed persistent delirium.

He repeatedly drew geometric shapes combining spirals and polyhedrons on the cabin walls, screaming, "They are spawning beneath the Antarctic ice sheet!" On the morning of the second day, a patrolling crew member found him drowned in the ballast water tank.

Autopsy revealed his alveoli were filled with indigo-blue microorganisms (identical to the octopus corpse dust).

The captain ordered the incineration of all clothing that had come into contact with the samples.

May no one else ever touch the nightmare lurking beneath the ice.

Affinity Level 5

After being awakened, Murphy: Fauxborn frequently has a dream of escaping.

In the end of that dream, she holds her "Mother's" dagger and plunges it through her own chest under the brilliant moonlight.

The dream then abruptly ends, and the moment she opens her eyes, they meet the gaze of the ivory statue at the foot of her bed.

In Mythag, Murphy: Fauxborn acts like a younger version of her "Nurturer." She wears white mourning clothes year-round, rarely laughs or speaks lightly with others.

Only when the conversation turn to her preference for sweets does a crack appear in her flawless, saintly facade.

(Archivist's Annotation: I hope next time she wishes to enjoy cupcakes, she will ask for it immediately, rather than leaving a note requesting delivery to her room after everyone's afternoon tea has ended.)

She maintains a distance from any Awakener with relation to the Seafarers.

Unlike her other-world counterpart, she never deliberately avoids contact with them; however, the frozen, emotionless expression and thinly veiled hostility in her sarcasm subconsciously drive away those who don't want a confrontation.

Murphy: Fauxborn has died once before.

It was not a willing step through the threshold called "Divine Descent"; she witnessed the "God" being born from her own chest.

How ridiculous: it was a hideous, unconscious, and unknowing mass, yet she was forced to give up her vibrant, splendid life for it.

More ironically, the twisted fate remained relentless.

At the moment the God was born into the world, she accepted the unwilling sacrifice through intense pain.

After a long period resembling sleep, Murphy opened her eyes in astonishment, only to find the scene before her identical to her final moments.

"Murphy" died. "Murphy: Fauxborn" was Awakened.

Her Linker is a squirming blood clot, deaf and mute, that she herself gave birth to.

The God gives birth to the Princess, the Princess re-conceives the God, and the God reawakens her remains.

A pathological fate clings tightly to her, an endless, unbreakable cycle.

Her devout mother is ecstatic, the Seafarers prostrate themselves in prayer, and her dignity is restored, more glorious than ever before.

But the original "Murphy" is truly gone forever.

The girl who once, with a burst of foolish innocence, attempted to rebel against an unfair destiny, now embraces the crown of vanity she once despised and boards a cruise ship that can never reach the other shore.
