The young king slumbers upon his throne, issuing decrees at the edge of his dreams, his authority spanning the entire realm.

Before the sun sets, the king already feels weary.

He is tired of his own power, of his superhuman wisdom, of the fervent worship and offerings from his followers, and of the ancient, endless dreams.

No one knows what he dreams of during his long sleep, but they should be grateful for the blissful ignorance.

| Story: I (Affinity Level 3)

Before this, the oldest known human civilization originated from the Twin River, with a wealth of solid archaeological data to support this.

However, humanity will never be satisfied with the known; when faced with the vast, dark ocean, people will not cease to set sail into the unknown.

Perhaps we are not receiving the first reminders and hints.

Theosophists have proposed a hypothesis: the universe is an awe-inspiring cycle, and our world and humanity itself are merely a brief link within it.

Too many things silently dissolve in the cycle, leaving no trace for documentation-this is still fortunate, as some forced are so ancient and extreme that even mere remnants can produce immeasurable impacts on our era.

-For instance, this time, the crew of the "Vigil" unexpectedly discovered something at the bottom of the Southern Ocean, at least expanding humanity's understanding of prehistoric civilizations back to tens of thousands of years.

From this, we learned of a civilization that had nations, kings, and unique beliefs, which perished in a global flood, long sleeping beneath the sea.

Had it not been for the assistance of the Mystia Treaty Committee in the blockade efforts, human history might have been rewritten-and today's world is still not ready to face such upheaval.

Some Awakeners struggle with their new bodies and lives after waking, while others quickly adapt and actively begin their second life.

Tulu belongs to neither group, openly displaying a lack of interest in the current world.

His abilities are exceptional, and he likely understands the situation and crises of the world, but he prefers to spend most of his time sleeping.

Despite his indifference, he is well-known among both humans and Awakeners at the school.

Researchers closely observe him and publish papers about him; the Archaeology and Astronomy departments frequently extend invitations for academic discussions, often specifically requesting his attendance.

Tulu holds considerable influence among Awakeners: Murphy becomes gloomy at the sight of him, Goliath appears to secretly compete with him, and Miryam regards his words as gospel truth.

He shows no particular attitude toward these matters, neither expecting nor demanding anything.

Sometimes he responds to requests according to his whims, and sometimes he does not.

Chosen from countless children, Tulu was still shorter than that lazurite throne upon coronation.

But no one dare ever doubt his insouciant or somnolent, they are revered as proof of his listening to the divine.

The young king's determination will resolve difficulties; the young king's prophecy will fulfill.

Tulu's life therefore anchored: molding himself into the "god's" dreams, meeting with that dim enigmatic existence, uttering prophecies that dominate his country, sinking once again into chaotic dreams...

The will of higher presence determines the entire civilization.

HIs position is nothing more than a "messenger".

Drifting in their tides. Preparing for their arrangement.

However, there is one prophecy Tulu left untold: the nation would be drowned by the flood.

The civilization would sink beneath the waves.

As his price for the transcendent wisdom, he has to sleep for more than fifteen hours a day to alleviate the burden for his body.

Nevertheless, he remains somnolent when awake.

In the realm of dreams, there are furies from the existences he can't speculate, there are intertwining space-time with eldritch contradictions; there are even abysms gaping from loathsome depth, where the God itself dwells within...

He never seeks revelations from that very existence, yet prophecies still rise with indisputable clarity and accuracy.

He never asks for any worship, yet he still enshrined, involuntarily and indifferently, in their pious eyes.

His reborn is but an interruption of an eon-long slumber.

No need to call, no need to pray.
