Is Isolde good?

Isolde is a 6-star Spirit support built on Burn and the first new Spirit 6-star since launch. She starts in Prelude, giving allies Preignition stacks each turn so they apply Burn, which she partly converts into Heat; at 15 Heat she moves to Interlude and then Finale.

She applies Burn consistently, shreds Crit DEF and Reality DEF reliably, hands the team Power Burst and near on-demand Rousing Morale, and hits hard herself for a support unit. Outside Burn teams she takes a while to come online.

Pairs well with: Burn team.

Strengths

  • Consistent Burn with self-synergy
  • Reliable Crit DEF and Reality DEF shred
  • High damage for a support
  • Team Power Burst and Rousing Morale

Weaknesses

  • Slow to come online outside Burn teams

Background

Isolde (伊索尔德) (full name: Isolde von Dittarsdorf) is a Spirit Arcanist in Reverse: 1999.

She was introduced through the story chapter E Lucevan Le Stelle alongside Marcus in Version 1.7.

Isolde, the youngest daughter of the noble Dittarsdorf family of Vienna, conducts herself with the grace and warmth of a spring breeze.

Spring in Paris isn't so different from Vienna.

This is where the elite gather, discussing the latest fashions in clothing, jewelry, and perfumes, wearing smiles dressed with elegant disdain, as etiquette demands—she knows this world well.

A gentleman displays his butterfly specimens, a rare collection.

The delicate creatures are pinned to black velvet, gossamer wings shimmering with a beauty only captured through death.

At the center of the Palais Garnier, the orchestra rises on cue, and she steps into the spotlight beneath a thousand expectant eyes.

A butterfly's life is only a breath against the void.

Why should it linger? Why not hurry toward that eternal beauty?

The voices of the dead whisper in her mind, sketching out a vision of a glorious tomb.

Her soul aches to rest—beneath the specimen glass, within a coffin like a crystal jar.

Death would be the perfect escape.
