1. Part 1
12 linesAh, dear patron, you're here...
I'll tell you what happened...
The box stored a few miscellanies that our Lady collected.
I don't know how it happened, b-but they just ... escaped and ran outside.
Our Lady said we should let them be. They'll get bored eventually and come home.
Yet this box refuses to close if it isn't full. And we can't just leave it open like this...
Patron, if you have the time ... can you help bring them back?
Oh, thank you so much, my dear patron!
Our Lady will definitely be pleased to see the miscellanies returned to their place and the box finally closed!
What happened?
Is there something on your mind?
Leave it to me.
2. Part 2
3 linesDid you see that? I see two crumpled sheets of paper slipping past, like flying fowls!
Oh yes. They're probably pecking at the inkstone and drinking up the ink.
If I don't have a mountain hike lined up after this, I'd be squatting here till they fly out of the place.
3. Part 3
34 linesWe can now finally close the box.
Wait. Why? I thought we collected all of them.
You're missing one.
My ... milady...!
You have a job. Go and take care of it.
Oh yeah...! I do have a job!
Here. This is the last one.
What are you talking about?
Your analysts would need more than a year to write you something about this.
I'll be taking the box. As for the miscellanies...
Your place, my place ... does it really matter where my collection is?
Anyways, keep my miscellanies safe. If I see any creases or tears, someone's gonna pay.
I hereby entrust them to you.
I'm the one who collected these miscellanies, so I can only be the one to summarize the entire thing, right?
Thank you for your assistance, my dear patron. I'll take my leave. Our Lady will speak with you now.
How was it? Fun enough for you?
Me? Pfft. Boxes are stuffy places. Anything would love to catch some fresh air.
According to your process...
Hmm...
It looks like...
...
Whatever. Your S-O-something department would run the analysis and give you a report!
Meh. I just found it interesting and did it in my spare time.
They seem to like you a lot. Maybe you can let them stay at Endfield.
Look, my painting is always open to you. Don't tell me that you've barred me from Dijiang.
I'm glad to hear you say that.
And do let them out every once in a while. You don't want these scraps of paper to mess up your precious Endfield, right?
A report...?
Did you just hack into Dijiang?
Won't you miss your collection?
Were you the one who let the miscellanies out?
Thank you.
Of course not.
You're more than welcome to visit.
4. Part 4
6 linesFriend, can you help me?
I am a humble practitioner of the martial arts. Earlier this morn I came across a stele, with inscriptions that seem to be a secret and powerful martial arts manual.
But when I returned to the place, it became an Ink Spirit hive.
There's a big fella in the place ... and it would probably thrash me. If I can't read the inscriptions, I won't be able to master the martial arts.
I felt its beneficial influences just by reading a few lines, and went to get some paper and brush to copy it down.
Please chase it away. I will be very grateful.
5. Part 5
10 linesWe're talking about a burning ball of paper we just saw.
Don't listen to his burdo-muck. It was obviously a sheet of Xuan paper for ink paintings.
In any case, pieces of paper came flying in and landed here for a break.
We studied the writings together, but drew very different conclusions.
A brief scan is all we had before the pieces of paper flapped and flew away.
The east.
Burdo-mucker! They obviously went west!
They're arguing again.
What are you arguing about?
Where did they fly to?
6. Part 6

Let me see...
Yeah, I think so!
You actually found a few of them already, my dear patron.
Can you please help find the rest?
Our Lady will definitely be pleased to see the miscellanies returned to their place and the box finally closed!
What happened?
Is there something on your mind?
Miscellanies? Like these?
7. Part 7

Yeah, I think so!
One, two, three, four...
...
MY DEAR PATRON!!
You actually found ALL of the escaped miscellanies!
Thank you so much, my patron! NO! My savior! My mega savior!!!
What happened?
Is there something on your mind?
I found quite a few miscellanies. Take a look.
You alright?
8. Part 8
1 linesThere is nothing inside the box. At all.
9. Part 9
11 linesA table laden with freshly cooked and served dishes. You can sense their eagerness to be tasted.
The most perfect bowl of rice you ever had. Grains cook to perfect softness with a sweet aftertaste. You now yearn for some greens and a side of soup to finish it all up.
Some special condiments have been used to give these vegetables a unique flavor. A bite only urged your chopsticks on to get another.
Though clear and colorless like water, the soup is wholesome and flavorful. You think about getting another bowl, but already your body has moved and ladled one.
A bowl of rice, a bowl of soup, and a side of greens. With these you purged hunger from your body.
You are full. When you are about to leave, you noticed a miscellany hiding beneath a tray.
Eat some rice
Eat some greens
Sip some soup
(Feeling kinda hungry. I'll eat everything.)
(I feel a little stuffed. I'll try it out later.)
10. Part 10
2 linesYou have my gratitude, friend!
There is now nothing between me and my kung fu!
11. Part 11
38 linesNever drink alone, not in the nights of spring.
Thus I invite you hours twelve, in fine kohl we delve!
I TOAST THEE —!
Tzu-Wu the first, double-hour of combat, valorous strength for all to see.
Ch'ou-Mou the second, double-hour of strategy, observant across the compass.
Yin-Shih the third, double-hour of poetry —
...
Yin-Shih the third, double-hour of poetry —
Yin-Shih the third, double-hour of poetry, do I continue for you?
...
Yin-Shih the third, double-hour of poetry —!
Yin-Shih the third, double-hour of poetry, free and fair in merriment.
Mao-Lü the fourth, double-hour of propriety, heavenly notes in lawful order.
Ch'en-Wen the fifth, double-hour of culture, minds enriched and problems resolved.
Ssu-Nung the sixth, double-hour of farming —
Ssu-Nung the sixth, double-hour of farming, grain and rice aplenty.
Wu-Shang the seventh, double-hour of trading, awash in silken weave.
Wei-Chien the eighth, double-hour of building, hidden treasures in constructs deep.
Shen-Chu the ninth, double-hour of smithing —
Shen-Chu the ninth, double-hour of smithing, forge fires and molten steel.
Yu-Liao the tenth, double-hour of mending, wounds healed and scars erased.
Hsu-Hui the eleventh, double-hour of painting, myriad scrolls in bloom.
Hai-Shih the twelfth, double-hour of feasting, fragrant meals made promptly!
I TOAST THEE —!!!
Uh-oh. This one's talking weird.
Should I continue for you?
Pfft.
(Okay, I should do this seriously.)
Free and fair in merriment.
Dashing, clawing, and roaring.
Ah one, two, three, four.
Water and dew ne'er sipping.
I'm growing so I'm eating.
Grain and rice aplenty.
Bonky, bonky, thumpy, thumpy.
Forge fires and molten steel.
Let fire tear open the sky.
Did something fall out?!
12. Part 12
1 linesYou try knocking it to get more rhymes out of it, but it has already reverted to a normal calabash.
13. Part 13
36 linesReally?
I knew I was right!
Slow down, I'm trying to ask.
What did you see?
Hah. Got anything else to say?
IMPOSSIBLE! That was obviously a fine sheet of Xuan.
Sheesh! Do you always have to win? You even hired an extra to one-up me!
Hired an extra? Why would I do that? I'm not after your creds, okay?
You do it 'cos you wanna make a fool out of me. You've been doing this since we're kids.
And I don't care what your extra said. It won't change the truth. It was a SHEET OF XUAN PAPER!
Oh ho. You wanna fight?! I'll do it! FOR FREE!
Their argument got even worse.
Heheh. Appreciate the honesty, friend.
Now this blightbrain has nothing else to say.
But I did see a burning ball of paper.
It even singed my clothes! Take a look!
Meh. Probably did that on your own 'cos you knew you couldn't beat me.
Did that on my own?! ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME?!
Oh ho, I know it. You just wanna set me off. You've been doing this since you're a stupid kid.
We'll settle this once and for all! On this day!
It was a burning ball of paper! Even the boss of Hongshan won't change the truth!
Their argument got even worse.
You're saying that there's a ball of paper ... and a sheet of paper too?
I guess we just didn't notice the stuff that the other one of us saw.
Oh...
Hmm...
Both of them are now awkwardly silent.
That means —
I guess —
So I saw Tianshi Cinnabar because ... she's just so much better than Tianshi Cyan!
*Artistic and meaningful expletive obfuscated by the Scroll*!! Are you blind? It's obvious that Tianshi Cyan is more powerful!
Their argument got even worse.
I think I found the things you mentioned.
A burning ball of paper.
A sheet of Xuan paper for painting.
Both the burning ball and the fine sheet of paper.
14. Part 14
1 linesThe two cannot stop arguing. Nothing you say can stop their increasingly vitriolic exchange.
