6 scenes, 37 lines
1. Part 1
5 linesThe Miasma is a bigger problem than I thought...
The Blight pollutants undergo endless loops of precipitation and sublimation in the air. They keep moving around ... and their distribution is extremely uneven.
They're severely hindering the purification efficiency of my Xiranite rain. The amount of precipitation must be commensurate with the levels of air pollution. If we fail to do this, we'd...
We'd ... what?
The science is a little hard to explain... Here. This is the simulation data I got.
2. Part 2
17 linesThat is a rate of consumption we cannot match.
Accurately monitoring the distribution of airborne pollutants will let the Xiranflow Cloudseeder to perform targeted seeding. We'll need a lot less Xiranite with this method...
Well, my old man told me that little critters are very sensitive to disasters and pollution.
If the fowlbeasts are avoiding a place, then it's definitely polluted. You can make more rainfall over there.
Fowls that wait for seasonal winds... Think about this in reverse. It's not about where the fowls are trying to reach. It's where the fowls are avoiding.
But the air of Yinglung Pass is way too polluted for us to use monitoring kites.
"Emulate the fowls that wait for seasonal winds"... If only my mentor was here. She'd tell me what her comment means. Or if the designer of Yinglung Pass was around...
We should go to a fowlbeast habitat. Catch a few fowls, rig them with miniature flight recorders, then release them back home.
We can then overlap the flight paths, identify areas that the fowls are avoiding, then mark them out as polluted zones.
The airborne pollutants can move, but so do the fowls. If we can collect data on a regular basis, we can even see how the pollutants moved during that time period.
I'll go prep the miniature flight recorders! How many do we need... Hmm. I should get as many as I can!
Hey. What about the fowls —
Whatever. It'll take him a while to gather the flight recorders. We'll just help him catch the fowls.
Ugh. Now I don't know if I'd ever fulfill the "wish"...
I know where we have more fowlbeasts, but their flight paths are quite haphazard.
Xiranite is actually a finite resource...
I can't fit that many production lines in Yinglung Pass.
3. Part 3
3 linesDid they hear us coming and decide to hide?
Hmm. I see fowl tracks here, but where did they go?
We can try scanning the place to reveal the fowlbeasts' tracks and locate them.
4. Part 4
2 linesHeheh. Time to bring them back and place the flight recorders on them.
Amazing, Master Chen.
5. Part 5
4 linesI'll call it the Migratory Fowl Rod for now. It can receive data from the flight recorders and pass it on to the Cloudseeder to support Xiranite cloudseeding.
Tianshi Wei, we're back with the fowlbeasts you need!
Wonderful! I also found the flight recorders but got really stumped by my failed attempts to catch the fowls! You Endfielders took the initiative... I gotta thank you properly for this.
After referencing the Endmin's proposal, I believe we can add a response module to the Xiranflow Cloudseeder.
6. Part 6
6 linesNow I gotta see if the migratory fowlbeast approach works. If it does, we'll place flight recorders on more fowlbeasts and expand the scale and coverage of our mapping efforts.
This will help the Cloudseeder auto-target and seed Xiranite clouds in areas that airborne pollutants are passing through, and reduce the overall cost of Xiranite.
That certainly sounds like the finalized build of the facility.
That's right. Just one module short ... and I've submitted the applications to the Tianshi Bureau Academy. The parts will be delivered in two days.
I also asked my colleague to find the original designer of the Xiranflow Cloudseeder.
I'll update everyone with the results of this investigation.
