Episode 2, Chapter 6: A Maid's Heart

This road will lead us to Port Vellum.

Call out if you notice anything off, no matter how small.

What's wrong with them?

I can sense their feelings... they're really anxious... and scared.

Could it be... because of the Void Energy?

Look! A Void Plant sprout!

No wonder something felt wrong...

Friar Ragdoll was right. Those guys came through here.

Vile things. We should incinerate this.

I'll purify this for now!

Over there! There's more over there!

I don't think there are any more around here.

This gate... Is this Port Vellum?

Yes. We have to pass through here to get to the holy site of the Feline Order.

Let's hurry. The town might be in danger already.

Hey, are you adventurers?!

Is everything okay, sir? You seem upset...

Right now, there's... Oh, how do I explain?!

Try to calm down, sir. Take a deep breath.

So... Shellymanders! The Shellymanders are on a rampage...

And then, suddenly, everybody wanted to kill the Shellymanders...

Now they're all fighting each other...

I just don't know what's happening...

We'll take care of it, sir. Get to someplace safe in the meantime.

Oh my, thank you...

It's not too late. Let's hurry.

It doesn't seem like these Shellymanders ate the seeds...

Weird. How were they corrupted?

Maybe we should hear what the Shellymanders have to say.

What? Is that even possible?

Well, actually... I've been trying for a while now...

I can't get everything for sure... but I do know that these Shellymanders are very agitated... and scared.

But... how can you tell?

By concentrating... carefully?

Tch!

Mand... mander...

This Shellymander is trying to say something!

Mand... mander... mandeeeer... mander...

What's it saying?

Uh, scared mander mander... Black wind mander mander mander... People... mander? Yeah, I can't fully understand it!

Is this another symptom of Void Corruption?

I'm not sure, but it's definitely caused by Void Energy.

Shellymander. It's dangerous here. Get somewhere safe.

Mander...

Let's not disturb the Shellymanders. Try to walk by quietly.

The Shellymanders are attacking people!

We have no choice then. We'll take them down.

Please, help me! Please!

My little brother and I got separated...!

Wait here. It's dangerous. We'll...

I can't do that! He's my only family...!

What should we do, Commander?

...Okay. Be careful and stick close to us.
