Episode 6, Chapter 7: In Search of Narae

What's this?! Dokkaebi!

I heard Nagi had dokkaebi followers.

So you sent Narae to a dangerous place like this?

Ha, haha... I wonder why there are so many dokkaebi around...

Let me take a look. This may be one of Chae-Ah's masterpieces.

One-hit KO. It was a painless end.

These were precision strikes. I'm positive!

The dokkaebi are all dead.

Hahaha. See, I told you not to worry.

This is clearly Chae-Ah's handiwork!

You still never should've sent a child somewhere so dangerous.

I'm sorry, but there's really nothing to worry about.

The young Divine Maiden will be fine.

Alright... I'm trusting you.

Dokkaebi are strong, even small fries like these.

The censer should be further inside.

Wait, there are footprints here.

Of course! The two of them were here just now! That way!

Huh?! It won't open!

*Sigh* So, what now?

Mew.

Hmm? Oh! $CAT_NAME$!

$CAT_NAME$, do you know what to do?

Meowww!

Whoa! That... That's awesome!

Nya-nya!

I think it wants us to examine the statues.

There are special patterns on the ground.

I think if we orient things correctly, it'll create an image.

Should we head back to $CAT_NAME$ if we're done?

Maybe this isn't right... Let's try another shape!

We did it! Thank you, $CAT_NAME$!

Nyan!

Your cat definitely has special powers.

You have suuuuuper special powers.

Mew.

Since ancient times, there's been a legend that a divine cat possessing the power of creation dwelled here.

If you just used that power... You might be a being of the Immortal Plane.

Meow.

Thank you helping us. I really appreciate it.

Mew, mew.

Chae-Ah?

Where's Narae? What's happened to her?

Ugh... Because of you...

It's because of you... that Narae...

Chae-Ah...?

Chae-Ah... you okay?

It's me, Leeho. I'm a regular at Dohwa Garden.

Uhhhhahhhh!

Nagi said...

You go no further.

Agh... My head...

What did I do...?

What about Narae? Where's Narae?

Narae...

With the unbreakable censer...

She thought it would be okay even if you made a mistake...

No, Narae...

We came here to find a censer for this year's Sacred Soul Ritual.

But...

Master, over here! I think we're almost there!

But the door is locked.

Haha, I can just break that open.

Noo! We can't do that!

My sister told me not to mess with things from sacred places. It could get us in big trouble.

Hmm, then we should check if there's a key nearby.

There's a path here.

It seems like there's something here!

(Thirsty ones rushed to kneel, but the cups must be filled in turn.)

I suppose we need to fill the cups in the order they appeared.

Thirsty ones... I think we'll need your power of water, Narae.

Do we fill one cup first, then the rest?

Hm... I guess that was the wrong order. Should we check the stele again?

Nice! We did it!

We found the key. I'm so proud to have a such a smart student.

Leave this to me. You can take a break, Master.

Let's see if the censer is inside that altar.

This isn't sealed. I think we can just open it.

What? This isn't a censer!

Hm... That altar has a seal on it.

(All stands awaiting grace and virtue, fill all the cups at once to bring satisfaction.)

Hmm... We need to find a way to fill all the cups at the same time.

We require a skill that can fill all the cups at once.

I think we need a way to summon a lot of water simultaneously...

Hmm... Maybe there's a way I could summon a giant wave?

It worked! The seal is undone!

Hm... This isn't it either. Let's check further inside.

There's another one over there!

What? Come on! This isn't it either.

It won't open. This is the last one.

There's another stele here!

(Consider all present. Let those bowed down be filled in turn, and those standing upright be filled at once so that they may rejoice.)

We need to fill the cups in order for the bowing cats.

You must memorize the order and fill them correctly.

The cups for the standing cats need to be filled all at once.

Perform your skill while standing at the center of the statues!

This isn't right... Let's read the stele again.

Done! We did it!

Master! I found it. The unbreakable censer!

Haha! Told you! I knew it would be in here! *Gasp*

Ack... Kgh...

Miss me much?

Hey! Stop it!

Let my master go!

You haven't changed a bit. Still rude.

Narae... Run, save yoursel--

If you want to save her, you'll follow me. So come along quietly.

Okay. But you have to let my master go free.

Of course. Happy to oblige. Unlike your mother, I'm not a liar.

No! Na... Narae!

Oh, I'd almost forgotten. A present for Mina.

By the sacred tongue of the dragon, I command you! Answer to me!

Yes.

If you want to protect her...

You'll stop anyone from meddling. Alright?

Yes... Nagi.

No! Stop it! No!!!!

If only I was stronger...

I'm sorry, Divine Maiden!

Don't blame yourself too much.

I'm the one who told you two about this place.

Narae.

I'm sure she's still alive.

Nagi is planning on using the power of the Kumiho to control Red Shadow.

She'll try to drain Narae's essence in the Homecoming Garden where the Sacred Stone is.

That's insane...

Chae-Ah, return to Jiwon and evacuate the villagers.

Yes, Divine Maiden.

We need to save Narae as soon as possible. Let's hurry.
