Background

One of few Banner Lords to come from a humble background, Vott Head-lopper was an executioner in an isolated Kaerok hamlet. After massacring a group of bandits menacing the Duke of Hindgraf, he was made the official executioner for that noble's estate. With low cunning, chilling intimidation, and brutal murder, Vott positioned himself as the childless Duke's successor.

Despite his acquired rank, Vott continues to practice his job of executioner, claiming that if he couldn't do the job himself, he had no business sentencing anyone to death. He has a zeal for 'justice' that goes beyond the bounds of custom. When a Hindgraf nobleman called Gaspard was convicted of many depraved crimes, Vott eagerly put an end to him.

It is not only on the chopping block where Vott is adept at ending lives. As expected of a Banner Lord, he is trained in the arts of war, and a proven prodigy. He is incredibly tough, wearing his heavy armor as easily as a silk robe, and an absolute monster in the press of close melee. He has no qualms about spilling blood as long as he believes in his cause, and shows not the slightest disgust when surrounded by the entrails and severed heads of enemy soldiers. His manner is unrefined, aggressive, and shameless. His fellow Lords scoff, but even they must acknowledge Vott as a killing machine par excellence.
