A Cat's Thanks

(Spotting you from afar, the stray cat meows in delight, bouncing its way towards you.)

(The cat looks so full of life, needing neither your playtime nor the food. Instead, it twirls around you, then darts towards Sanctuary, glancing back at you, as if inviting you to come along.)

(From the grass nearby Sanctuary, the cat drags out a rigid frozen fish. Then, it tilts its head at you, as if saying, "This is my thank-you gift.")

(You pick up this frozen fish, and clink, clink, a few coins slip from its mouth, shining dimly.)

(As if understood, the cat lets out a long meow and rubbing its head lovingly against you.)

(The cat nods and bounces away. You may not know what it'll bring you next time, yet you know you'll see it around at the Sanctuary for a long while.)
