Wish Fruit

I heard that Wish Fruits could only be found on Last Island.

Do you happen to know where they grow, Riica?

No. A scan of my database revealed no registered information.

I see. In that case, we should probably talk to the islanders.

Umm...

Right, let's go talk to him!

Hey, can I ask you something? Are you familiar with Wish Fruits by chance?

Oh, of course I do! They're our island specialty that is said to grant wishes when consumed.

They're juicy and delicious, too. They look like your run-of-the-mill fruit, but are pink on the inside and loved by children.

But they're really hard to find. Some say that the fruits are like shooting stars that fall from the heavens.

What is that supposed to mean? Shooting stars? But meteorites and fruits are compositionally unaligned...

No, no... That was a simile just now. He meant they're as rare as shooting stars.

Hahaha! That might have been a bit hard for your android friend to comprehend.

Well, how about looking around a bit? I'm sure your friend will be a huge help in tracking them down!

What do you mean?

Places with Wish Fruits give off a faint, bittersweet scent. That's how the islanders find them.

A scent! That is definitely one of Riica's specialties!

Leave the compositional analysis to me!

Wish Fruits are often found around rocky areas, so you should concentrate your searches there.

So we are looking for rocky areas with a bittersweet scent. Information input complete.

Thanks. We'll start searching right away!

Good luck to you!

Oh, you're back. Of course, you're here to find Wish Fruits, right?

The trick to finding them...

Major harvesting locations are rocky. Their bittersweet scent will allow us to find them!

Haha! That's right. That's an android for you. Well, best of luck to you.

Of course. I'll be back before you know it.

There are rocks around here... But I don't see anything that resembles a fruit.

Riica, can you check to see if there's a bittersweet scent?

Yes! Leave that to me!

Measuring atmospheric composition...

Aldo. I'm sorry to report that I was unable to detect the appropriate scent molecules. There is no fruit to be found here!

Okay. Thanks.

Then let's look somewhere else!

Here it is! These must be the rocks the old man was talking about before.

This is a remarkable rock in terms of form and material.

However, at first glance, I do not detect anything that resembles a fruit.

Yes. But, Riica... Would you at least check if there is a bittersweet scent in the air.

Understood!

Measuring...

Bittersweet molecules detected in the local atmosphere. Expanding measurement range...

Response confirmed!

Really?!

No doubt about it.

A corresponding bittersweet scent detected at one o' clock.

The result when wind influence is applied...reveals two possible locations.

Well done, Riica. Let's head to the next location right away!

There's a rock over here, too! But I don't see anything that looks like a fruit...

Check it again for me, Riica.

Do not worry! I've already commenced measurement!

Bittersweet molecules detected in the local atmosphere. Expanding measurement range...

Response confirmed!

Really?! Which direction is it coming from this time?

Detected at five-thirty from here.

And also at eight o' clock from here.

The result when wind influence is applied...reveals three possible locations.

So there are three locations this time...

All right. Let's check them out in turn!

There! A rock!

And even I can tell there's a bittersweet scent in the air this time around!

No doubt about it. The scent molecules we've detected up until now are definitely located here.

Umm...

Here! This is it!

So this is a Wish Fruit...

Ah, this one is overly ripe and the flesh is showing. Just look at this color...!

It's a truly remarkable pink! Coloring detected... It's the exact same coloring as my body!

If the this color is loved by children, it means I could possibly be loved by children, too!

Haha. You might be right!
