1. Frigid
16 linesAfter Rasparta's last incursion, we beefed up our border surveillance.
Doctor Aiken developed a special plant that incorporates elements of surveillance tech.
They can't be mass produced, so they've only been planted in key locations.
Does my hometown have one?
By the time they arrive at your hometown, it would be too late. So we planted one along each road leading to the village.
That's a lot! I thought you said there weren't that many.
Exactly. Bifrost has paid a huge price for these monitoring plants.
And compared to the losses Rasparta could inflict, the General thinks it's money well-spent.
So am I to understand the Raspartan expedition has been monitored this whole time?
Yes. We have had plenty of warning... and time to prepare.
So what's the plan?
First we waited for the Raspartan force to approach your hometown. Then a small force under my command wrapped around to cut off their supply lines.
Now we link up with the other squads and take out their scouts, leaving the Raspartan force stranded in Bifrost.
Sounds risky.
Don't worry. Your sister has been given the best protection. If anything goes wrong, no one is taking her anywhere.
You'll see when we get there.
2. Stage 38-1, before the battle
4 lines3. Stage 38-1, after the battle
4 linesI'm starting to understand why we were caught flat-footed last time.
Even when your intelligence is good, what you do with it is way more important than knowing everything.
The advantage of good intelligence is it allows us to choose the time and place of the battle. We still need to fight.
Buckle up, buttercup. It's party time.
4. Stage 38-3, before the battle
16 linesNo, no, something's wrong. We're getting way too close to the target. Bifrost, no, Teslovik must know we are here!
It's a trap!
With respect, Commander, aren't you being a little paranoid?
I can understand your concern. After all, you are a LOSER. You must be eager to prove yourself.
Even so, I would ask you to have a little more confidence in us.
... Even Wadjet was defeated on this ground. Why are you so sure you can win?
The Celestial was not defeated. We're just tying up some loose ends from that mission.
As for me, I work for the Empire.
You can think of me as the last line of defense.
We lost too many Bifrost agents last time. We cannot afford to lose any more.
Without them, our losses will be even greater!
For instance, how long is it since we heard back from our scouts?
Scouts?
Commander! Bifrost forces ahead!
5. Stage 38-3, after the battle
6 linesIt doesn't seem real, watching the Raspartans walk straight into our trap.
Could that be part of THEIR plan?
We can't rule that out, but surrounding them will only work to our advantage.
As the defending side, we are well-prepared for this moment.
I can see Gura.
C'mon. Let's go capture her again.
6. Stage 38-10, before the battle
7 linesLook who we have here; my old friends, we meet again!
It's great to see you and you brought so many ''gifts''! You really shouldn't have.
... Full of it, as usual.
Do I still have time to surrender, for old times' sake?
That's going to be difficult. After all, it's not the first time you've surrendered.
That's a shame...
But I might consider your request, after firing a few shots at your head.
