Memory Maze

Hello there, the two of you from the Detective Club, I am the leader of the Student Club, Lilith.

I'm also the Student Club member you see in the photo.

In that photo, are you a member of the Student Club, or the leader!?

But you have black hair, the person in the photo has white hair.

Are you okay? I see she has white hair.

Is that so... What about now?

You...

Are becoming the person in the photo...

And wearing the Bunny Girl outfit too!

My species is pretty unique. Without control, the version of me you see would just turn into the one you like the most.

What you see now is the real me.

Before you spoke, I had never heard of anyone in the academy having this ability.

Not even the president?

Yes, because this ability comes with a price.

All the people affected by me will lose their memories of me after they leave me. Only when they see me again and are influenced by me can they recall.

Lost memory... So no one remembers you?

That's pitiful.

Pitiful? What an unusual assessment.

Alright, this is the whole truth about the Student Club.

I'm done talking. I should get going.

Wait, wait a minute!

So you're saying... you appeared because of the letter I sent?

I will answer this question after you have submitted the new letter.

If you can still remember, that is!

Hang on, I...

... Hm?

What was I supposed to do?

You asked if there's really someone who can make others forget everything about themselves?

Oh, right...

Right?

Why are you holding a recording device in your hand?

Hmm? It really is.

The recording has been on for a while now.

Mira, check the time.

How long has it been since we left the News Department?

Let me see... half an hour.

Knew it.

My perceived time is about twenty minutes, and the recording is ten minutes, which matches perfectly.

What do you mean?

Listen to the recording and we'll understand.

My species is pretty unique. Without control, the version of me you see would just turn into the one you like the most.

What you see now is the real me.

All the people affected by me will lose their memories of me after they leave me. Only when they see me again and are influenced by me can they recall.

Is this, what just happened?

I can't recognize that at all!

This means the Student Club replied to my letter!

The reply's content is the truth we need to look into...

The Student Club is an Underground Organization established by students that no one can remember!

Are we done with our task?

No need to disband the Detective Club?

Sounds about right.

There's a subtle feeling, as if the task was completed on its own without me doing anything.

This is a campus, there shouldn't be many big issues in the first place.

Moreover, I think it's quite strange that the intern detective dreams about the Bunny Girl senior.

Second only to the Biology Department keeping a butterfly host.

Indeed, it is like this...

If you hadn't recorded the audio, we probably wouldn't have realized we lost our memories.

Only you can't see it. Since I've been watching the time, it's easy for me to think things through.

You're still too slow to notice the changes in time.

Alright, I'll work on that.

But shouldn't we go complete the task now?

Is your investigation complete?

Yes, this is the report.

Please pass it to the Student Union leader.

I understand, please wait a moment.

The leader will arrive soon.

Thank you, Sova.

You're welcome.

Is this the report you submitted?

Yes?

Just as I thought, the Detective Club nailed it and uncovered the truth about the Student Club.

Your skills have earned my recognition.

So, task complete?

Finished? Isn't this just the beginning?

What do you mean?

The intel you obtained are indeed important, but they have nothing to do with my task.

My mission is, someone is causing trouble under the name of the Student Club, and the Detective Club is here to uncover the truth behind it.

There isn't a single mention of the troublemakers in your report.

What is this...

After receiving the assignment, I walked around the campus with the president.

Although we saw many fans of the Student Club, we didn't see them causing chaos.

May I ask, what exactly do you mean by chaos?

The Student Club is holding a gratitude celebration event.

What?

It's an event organized by fans of the Student Club.

I'm pretty sure neither the Student Club members nor its fans know about this event.

But it has been held twice already.

Your president seems to know a lot about this, don't you know?

President! How come I didn't know about this!

Perhaps you weren't paying attention.

I've reminded you several times.

Is there?

My leader, a large number of students dressed in bunny girl outfits have suddenly gathered in the gym!

It seems like they are all here to participate in the Student Club's celebration!

Long live the Student Club! I've been a fan since I was born!

Sakura Academy didn't even exist when you were born.

Don't talk nonsense!

What do you know? This is an exaggeration that expresses the excitement in my heart.

You're dressed as a bunny girl, are you also a fan of the Student Club?

The Student Club did help me once...

Are you a tsundere?

What?

Never mind, it doesn't matter what type you are.

The Student Club's celebration is about to begin!

So many people dressed as bunny girls...

Are you also participating in the event? Why aren't you wearing bunny girl outfits? Unqualified!

We are sent by the Student Union to check on you!

To my knowledge, activities involving a large gathering of students need to be reported. Have you reported it?

Of course! We have reported to the Student Club!

As for that useless Student Union, whoever wants to join can join!

It's really lively.

How could you not inform me if the celebration is prepared for me?

With the Student Club leader's help, this celebration event finally looks decent.

Wait, wait a minute!

So you're saying... you appeared because of the letter I sent?
