This is the Sacred Beast's favorite incense. I thought the scent might help hasten its recovery.
Incense can do that?
Specters consume smoke. To be precise, the smoke released when burning incense is a natural elemental.
In other words, this is like a freshly cooked meal to the Sacred Beast!
Oh yeah? Guess that makes sense.
To tell the truth, I should like to offer something to the incarnations as well, but...
Incarnations?
Ah, I see you are familiar with them.
They are parts of the Sacred Beast, split off from the original in order to protect the whole of Garulea.
This continent is full of strife and brimming with impurity. To prevent that impurity from overwhelming the Sacred Beast, each incarnation took a portion to lessen the burden. But after what happened to the Sacred Beast, I cannot help but wonder what has become of those incarnations.
If you're sayin' those incarnations might be sufferin', then I wanna help 'em out!
And since this world's Nekoko isn't around right now, it's up to me to save the day!
I'll treat all those incarnations to a feast!
I am in your debt! I know of three incarnations at present. Each has their own preferred incense, but... Because of the earlier incident, most of the Cat Shrine's stores have been burnt up.
There is only one type left, and it was stored underground by Nekoko.

Let me have a whiff... Ahh, yes. This is the favorite of the blue dragon, Seiryu, one of the four beasts. Even among incarnations, those four are particularly powerful.
So what do we do with it?
You need to light it at a certain incense burner somewhere in this world. And while I don't know exactly where that may be, the rumors say it's in an area favored by the incarnation. According to legend, Seiryu is fond of high places.
High places? Now that you mention it, I think I saw something like that on Mt. Kamukura.
