The Remulia Ruins are once again open. But with more visitors than ever, a problem arises...

1. Scene 1

Oswald

I see. Yes, that could indeed prove difficult...

Aldo

Is something wrong?

Clughorn

We'd planned to feature several artifacts unearthed from the ruins as a centerpiece of the renewed exhibition. But there's...a complication. If you've the time, Aldo, I'd like to ask for your assistance.

Aldo

Sure. What did you need?

Clughorn

So quick to agree...very much in character for you. Come with me, I'll take you to the Remulia Ruins vault.

2. Scene 2

Aldo

So what's the problem?

Mildy

This. Right here.

Aldo

Yikes...it's in pieces. You're right, no way to put these on display like this.

Clughorn

The damage itself is not the issue. Even broken, the artifacts retain value.

Mildy

The problem is that when it broke, the foul curse sealed inside it was unleashed. Not much family fun to be had in a cursed ruin. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Aldo

Then maybe we should check how the relic looked in the past. If we can find it before it was broken, I bet we can reinforce it. Let's head to the Astral Ruins and take a look around the same area.

3. Scene 3

Aldo

This should be the spot where the vault exists in the future.

Mildy

Looks like it's sealed off. I suppose this is your cue?

Aldo

I'm on it.

Mildy

There's some damage, sure...but I don't sense any curse emanating out. If we patch it up, it should be safe enough.

Clughorn

Determining the proper materials for the repair will likely mean consulting Grenfaa again. Will this not be an imposition?

Aldo

I'm sure he won't mind. Grenfaa's always willing. Let's head back to Resttin.

4. Scene 4

Grenfaa

Hmm...yes. With the right resources from Astra Island, this can be repaired. I've listed everything you'll need. Once you've gathered it all, bring it back to me.

5. Scene 5

12 lines
Grenfaa

There. That ought to do it.

Clughorn

You've my thanks for lending your aid. Next time we will be sure to bring confections, something the artisans here can share.

Grenfaa

Ho-ho-ho... No such courtesy is needed.

Aldo

All right, then. Let's return the repaired relics to where they belong.

Mildy

Oh, no no. I don't think so. If we just slip them back, it'll be like when you "fixed" those murals, as if they'd been discovered in perfect condition to begin with. We worked hard. I won't stand to have my labor go uncredited.

Aldo

Then...what do you suggest we do?

Mildy

We bring the relics straight to Oswald in the future. That way he knows what state they were in, and who fixed them. Hardly anyone knows they were broken, so history won't be disturbed. But if we don't ensure our efforts are acknowledged, we'll be selling ourselves short.

Clughorn

She's still sore about the mural incident.

Aldo

Right, I heard you were the one who convinced Oswald to hand the title of Maiden of Remulia over to Spiri.

Mildy

The girl deserved it. It's only natural to want her effort rewarded. And this time, we'll ensure WE'RE rewarded too. Oswald can treat us to a nice dinner. Spiri and Chelika should come along as well.

Aldo

Haha. Well, let's go and see him.

Clughorn

He'll likely be in the ruins' vault.

6. Scene 6

9 lines
Aldo

Oswald, about this relic...

Oswald

Ah, I don't believe I've seen this one before. So? What's the story behind it?

Mildy

We came across it while exploring the ruins. It was badly damaged, so Aldo went back to the past and had it restored.

Aldo

(It's almost scary how smoothly she can lie.)

Oswald

My, Aldo...you are the very model of kindness. I must find some way to repay you.

Mildy

It's not necessary. Though if you insist, why not send some room service to Chelika and the others resting in the villa? Fresh pancakes, maybe. I'm sure they'd be delighted.

Oswald

Consider it done.

As for the relic...I shall have the vault remodeled to accommodate it. When you have time, do come and see it on display.

A new exhibit is added to the vault, drawing 100,000 visitors!
