Earthen Calamity in the Ruins

Thanks for bringing me out here. I'd been wanting to give my regards to everyone.

It's the ruins. We've been fighting the calamity sealed inside, to keep it from building up too much strength.

Then you've managed to decipher more?

Yes... I just recently completed my findings.

And what did it say? There were supposed to be two constellations left, right?

The second constellation is Mul Ki-ka, also known as the Regenwurm.

It matters not what form it takes. If this thing stirs, we slay it before it wakes. Do we have both the star map and the asterorbs to reach it?

I'm afraid...we have only the chart.

One should be the jewel I gave to Master Guildna before. The other... I'm not sure.

Hang on, could it be this one? I got it in the future.

If you already possess it, then all the better. Let us set the Astrolabos in motion at once.

Then it must still lie hidden somewhere on the island.

We don't have time to scour the whole island, though... It could be anywhere.

You can travel to the future, can't you? Perhaps it's already been uncovered there.

I sense a unique waveform up ahead. It's emitting a deep sound, almost as if trying to draw us into the abyss... It's not to be underestimated, that's for sure.

So this is the face of catastrophe.

We managed to put it down...somehow.

This looks like...an ornament of some kind. The waveforms are quite strange. This power... I feel as though it resonates with me.

Then take it. The defeated forfeit their lives, and the victors claim their spoils. Such is law.

As a human, I cannot say that particular law sits well with me...but I'll carry this, nonetheless.

Still...that creature. Did it truly perish? Maybe I'm imagining things, but I could still feel traces of Mul Ki-ka's presence. Faint...but lingering.

These things can't be destroyed completely. If they're left alone, though, they'll just grow stronger. That's why we have to take them out again and again.

Then the Chrono Clan will lends its strength as well. We won't stand by while this menace stirs.

This leaves but one constellation. Until its secrets are deciphered, we'll simply have to keep the others in check...and wait.
