All the runners in her group are extremely skilled, certainly good enough to make their debuts.
Arghhh! I'm done for! The race hasn't even begun, and it's already over!
This is what the divination meant by misfortune, I'm sure of it! Why did I even bother?!
With a look of defeat, Matikanefukukitaru's shoulders slump, and she very gloomily goes about her training.

I'm unsure what Matikanefukukitaru means when she talks about this Shiraoki being, but whatever her reasons, the divinations seem to be motivating her.
The divinations and fortune-telling are dear to her, and they have indeed helped her get this far. That much I can tell. Perhaps I can put this information to use...
