Chapter 22: Shake It Off
Campaign season 2, chapter 22.
6 scenes, 26 lines
1. Stage 1, before the fight
7 linesHow you holding up, Bulletproof?
Good. I'm getting used to how you can't get used to anything around here.
Happy to hear it. Cause we've got a new emergency to take care of.
What is it?
Doc Seismic has resurfaced. He's babbling on about something while shaking all of downtown.
He's not alone. He has his army of Magmanites with him.
Don't worry, we'll take care of him.
2. Stage 1, after the win
3 linesDamn you false heroes! Don't you see you're standing in the way of progress!
We stopped him, but he got away. Don't worry Cecil, we'll stay out there and keep looking for him.
We've also got surveillance across the city. I'm sure we can find him faster.
3. Stage 20, before the fight
5 linesI got a Doc Seismic sighting. Oh jeez. He's creating mini-volcanos with his earthquakes. Go stop him before he melts the city!
Bike lanes!! This city is in desperate need of bike lanes!
And since they won't make them, I will repave these streets with liquid hot magma!
Is this guy always like this?
Pretty much. And I agree with him, we do need more bike lanes. But write to your councilperson. Volcanos aren't going to solve the problem.
4. Stage 20, after the win
3 linesWe've put a lid on Doc Seismic's volcanos, but he's escaped down into the sewers.
I'll track his heat signature. He won't get far.
Track the Magmanites' heat signatures instead. I start sweating just thinking of those guys.
5. Stage 40, before the fight
4 linesI have a location. They're just outside the city. And I'm seeing a massive heat signature.
No! The mega-volcano is nearly finished! I need it to wipe out the entire city and start anew!
No more wasted real estate on parking lots!
Maybe just play a city simulator, Doc. You wouldn't get punched in the face so much.
6. Stage 40, after the win
4 linesMy precious mega-volcano... No... You've ruined my future roundabout utopia...
Doc Seismic has been taken care of.
And his mega-volcano has cooled off.
Stop patting yourselves on the back and get back to base. I've got bad news for everyone.
