Taranor, Sunken Light Forest
With the threat of the Archdemon gone once and for all...
A blanket of peace descended over Ritania.
The people cried tears of joy at the end of a long war, celebrating their hard-won victory.
And I...
Ezera, Tirel Castle Banquet Hall
Eat as much as you can, everyone. Goddess knows you've earned it.
You were all amaaaaazing! Your refusal to give up until the Archdemon was defeated was exactly the will of the Goddess!
We never doubted we would win, but we must never forget the sacrifices of those who paid dearly so that this day could come as soon as possible.
I couldn't agree more. I'm sure they're all looking down on us, sharing in our joy.
But why do you three look so sad?
Oh? Do we?
That won't do! You're heroes who risked your lives for a continent that isn't even your home.
Do you feel uncomfortable? Or are you hurt anywhere? Just ask and we'll do whatever we can for you.
No, it's not that... It's just...
We're homesick.
Ah, for Wintenberg and Lefundos? I always hear about the troubles Lefundos are having with their king, and the ongoing war with the Dragons in Wintenberg.
Who knows what could be happening there while we sit here enjoying lavish feasts.
Mmm, I understand your urgency to get home.
You wouldn't have happened to find any Chaos Gates recently, would you?
You said you managed to return to Wintenberg through a Chaos Gate once, didn't you?
Unfortunately, no, there have been no recent reports...
I see...
Hmm, could there not be another way?
Eureka has always been a difficult place to travel to, even before the magical barrier was erected.
But isn't the distance by sea between Taranor and Eureka quite short? Why is there even a barrier in the first place?
Your Majesty is correct. Though few did it, it was possible to travel to Eureka by sea before the Archdemon came, but after the war started twenty years ago the barrier suddenly appeared.
There has been no shortage of research into what might have caused its appearance, but we've yet to find any concrete answers.
There are soooooo many theories it's hard to remember them all at once, but any relevant documents can be found in the Royal Library. You should go have a look yourselves.
That sounds like a good idea. I will make sure the three of you have the freedom to come and go through the library as you please.
The Royal Library of Ezera contains the knowledge of the entire continent of Ritania. If you're going to find any answers, they will be in there.
After all you've done for us, the least we can do is help you get home!
Then we will be in your debt. Thank you, Your Majesty, Sir Charles.
Ezera, Tirel Castle Corridor
Are you going to the library today as well?
Ah, Lady Iseria. I am, yes.
Have you found anything useful yet?
No... I'm trying to find more on the magical barrier in particular, but there's very little information available.
That's a shame. If you can't find anything in the Royal Library, it's unlikely you'll learn much elsewhere either.
I feared as much.
I don't know how helpful this might be, but I have seen someone use a ship to travel to another continent.
We're not the only people to come here from another continent?
He was from Cidonia, to the south. He sailed from Levulin Harbor.
But isn't there a barrier to the south as well?
As far as I'm aware, but the mist around it has been fading recently, so he deemed it worth a try.
The mist still isn't gone completely, though, so nobody knows what has happened to the barrier except for those who have tried traveling through it. Not to mention, it's been so long since anyone sailed there that nobody really knows the route either.
Hmm...
Ah, I'm sorry... It seems I've only added to your worries. I was just reminded of it when I saw you.
Forget I said anything. Eureka is north of Taranor, so we know even less about the situation there.
I understand.
After spending a few days gathering documents in the Royal Library of Ezera, I left Tirel Castle.
I tried visiting areas where Chaos Gates had appeared in the past, but I had little luck.
Even when I did find one, it either didn't lead to Eureka or vanished as soon as I saw it.
Eventually, I headed for Taranor.
I'm lost again and on the edge of starvation.
This has happened before...
I would never get lost in Wintenberg, but here I never have any idea where I am.
I could have sworn that road...
Hmm, maybe this way?
There's somebody else here, and they sound lost like me... I should meet up with them so we aren't lost alone.
Now that I think about it, I don't know if those three from Lefundos are having as little luck with Chaos Gates as me...
Phantom HQ
There seem to be fewer Chaos Gates lately.
Hmm, definitely.
But why...?
If we knew that, we wouldn't need to spend so much time wandering around.
...
Do you have an idea, Cecilia?
I'm concerned about the magical barrier. Lady Iseria told me something too...
That's right, back in the Royal Library you had focused your research on the magical barrier, even more so than the Chaos Gates.
We can't wait to find the perfect Chaos Gate, especially when fewer and fewer are appearing. We have a little information already, so if we look further into this barrier...
But even that information is vague and uncertain. You know as well as I that nobody comes back out of that mist.
But...
Back in Lefundos, we made several attempts to travel down to Ritania, but it was no use.
We were unable to discover what erected the barrier or how it worked. Even our greatest wizards were clueless.
What's more, Schniel's condition is getting worse with each passing day. We can't afford to spend time starting over again. As urgent as things are...
Who knows what Schniel might do if he hears that news about Cidonia.
...I understand.
I've heard of a Chaos Gate appearing to the north recently, shall we go have a look? At the least, we can have a closer look at the magical barrier while we're there.
As I said before, I trust Cecilia not to recklessly head into the mist.
We can't go too far because of Schniel, so let's split up between north and south.
That sounds good to me. Don't worry, Romann, if I find a way to Eureka, I'll send a message straight to the Phantom CIC.
I haven't heard anything from them since, so that must mean they haven't found anything...
Chaos Gates, magical barriers... They've caused so much trouble for correspondence between the continents, so why has there been so little research into them?
As the others have said, it's hard to find anything out no matter how much research is done, but still...
Then let's try! How else will we find out?
Ah, okay, let's just go that way then.
That voice sounds very familiar...
R-Rose... I don't think there's a path this way.
The forest trail is long, that's all.
There are more monsters the farther we go, too...
Argh, I'm already annoyed enough without all your nagging! What are you so scared of!? How are we ever going to find a way back to Eureka without taking chances!?
Savara, Ki Ruburan
Oh, who's this...?
...
Heh... I'm sorry about this. This is Rose, we know each other from Wintenberg.
We got separated when we came to Ritania but got reunited. You were doing dangerous work helping thugs and collecting information, weren't you?
Ah... Ahahahaha! I don't really know how things work over here, so I didn't realize it was so dangerous! Hahahahaha!
If they find out I was actually the one in charge of all those thugs after beating them into submission, they'll start asking questions.
One careless slip of the tongue could bring terrible shame to Ceci!
She has nowhere else to go, so I didn't have much choice but to bring her here. I'm so sorry to bother you.
Oh, it's no trouble at all, especially considering her circumstances. Pleased to meet you, I'm Silk.
Nemunas has told me all about how much of a great help you've been. I feel bad asking you for even more.
I'll only need to stay here until we find Ceci or at least a Chaos Gate.
You two have arrived just in time.
Oh, Basar! Is there something you need?
No, no. I had a gift for you, actually. Ta-da!
What's this? A map...?
No need to look so disappointed. This is a very important map.
Thanks to the intelligence-gathering capabilities of my merchant guild and consultation with the Phantom CIC, we were able to chart the locations of every known occurrence of a Chaos Gate.
Really!?
You should have led with that!
*chuckling* So you like it now, do you?
Of course! This is the best gift ever!
How will we ever repay you for all you've done for us...?
Don't you worry about that. You've already provided me with more than enough help in return.
According to Aramintha, if a Chaos Gate appears somewhere once, it's possible it might appear there again. So if you go to each of these spots, I'm sure you're bound to come across one eventually.
Wow, this map really is detailed. We'll be back in Eureka in no time!
Well, I'm not sure about that, but thank you for all your hard work. I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you! So so much!
The map led us to this point without problems, but there hasn't been a single Chaos Gate, and now it's all ripped from fighting monsters.
I don't know the way, so I've just been following Rose, but we haven't seen a village for hours, and the path is getting steeper...
Rose... You're sure you know the way, aren't you?
Urrgggggggghhhhhhh, do you ever stop talking!? How many times do I need to tell you to follow quietly? I've been to Taranor so many times I can find the way there with my eyes closed.
Oh, is that what you did while we were apart?
W-Why are you asking about that all of a sudden?! Just shut up and follow me, I know what I'm doing!
*growling*
...Why isn't it coming out?
Oh my, that's a big one...
Nemu? Rose? Is that really you?
...Ceci...?
Ceeeciiiii! I'm not hallucinating, am I?
No, it's really me. I never expected I'd run into you two.
How come you're here all alone? What have you been doing? Are you okay!?
I've missed you so much, Ceci! Did you miss me too!?
I'm fine, as you can see. Of course I've missed you all, but what are you doing here?
Ah, well...
...A lot has happened while we were apart.
For you too...
So you're trying to reach Taranor as well?
Yes, but I'm lost.
Ha... It makes me feel good to know I'm just the same as Ceci.
Wait, so... That means none of us know where we're going?
It would appear so. But I can tell you that all there is in this direction is more rough mountain paths.
Ah...
I guess that means we should have taken that other path we were considering earlier, Rose?
"We"?
You know, when there was a fork in the road. I wasn't too sure...
But you hesitated about taking the other direction before we came this way, so I was thinking maybe you knew where it led.
If we go back and take that path, then we'll follow you wherever you take us! Right, Ceci?
Ah, so Rose knows the geography of this area best? Good, then I'll let you lead the way.
Uhh... O-Okay! Of course I know this area best...! You can count on me!
2. 4. Hill Breeze Village
107 linesTaranor, Entrance to Hill Breeze Village
We've finally reached Taranor...
Hmph, if it weren't for that stupid forest trail...
Still, considering it's pretty much your first time, you did a great job! Anyway, we were able to find our way thanks to Rose.
Right...! Without me who knows when you might have arrived.
Things seem a lot more disordered than the last time I was in Taranor...
Maybe because of the change in government?
Change in government?
When the Archdemon War ended, the Acolytes were scattered, and King Friedrich of Taranor has been missing ever since.
And I became unemployed...
What was that?
N-Nothing! Ahem... Anyway, after that, Krau took power and started trying to clean things up.
I see. I haven't heard much about what happened after the war ended.
Wow, Rose, how do you know so much?
Just... I heard it from Basar!
Basar? I don't remember him ever talking about Taranor...
He definitely did, you must have forgotten. Or maybe you were busy with something else?
Ah, that would make sense...
Anyway, we have a lot to do. Let's get going!
Let's go!
Taranor, Hill Breeze Village
I came to Taranor once during the Archdemon War, but it's so big and felt so different from Ezera. I don't know much about its culture or geography.
Me neither... It would be good if we had someone to ask...
What about that person over there? They look like a local.
...Huh?
Do you live here? Have any Chaos Gates ever appeared nearby?
Or... Do you know anything about a magical barrier?
What are you talking about? Hmm, you look like you're not from here.
We're from Wintenberg, in Eureka. We're trying to find a way home.
There's a magical barrier blocking the way by ship, but it might be possible to travel there through a Chaos Gate.
Oh, I see. I expect you will be paying for such valuable information?
Of course, how much do you ne...
100,000 Gold.
...Excuse me?
What!? Who has that much money!? I've already been starving myself to save what little money I do have!
It's not my fault you're broke. What are you blaming me for?
We've been traveling for a long, long time. Can't you be a little more understanding?
Or we can work for you.
Don't be ridiculous. Everyone knows we've been cut off from Eureka for years. Why should I trust some shabby-clothed travelers?
How can I know that you're only looking for one of these "Chaos Gates"? I deserve hazard pay!
Hazard pay!? Don't make me laugh! Whether you believe us or not, there's no need to pick a fight!
I don't want anything to do with some dirty foreigners. Guys, get rid of them!
Got it, Boss.
This is what happens when you get in the way of business!
Everyone is so wary of us, is it just because we're not from here? Or the country's instability?
That'll teach them to mess with the Dragon Knights of Wintenberg!
Let's just go, Rose, we don't want this to get any more...
Get off me! I'm not going to let this go! You'll pay for this one day, mark my words!
You're the only one left! I'll bet you're not so tough without your lackeys to protect you!
Urgh...
Rose, calm down...
What's all this fuss!? Stop right there!
Oh, thank the Goddess you're here! Please save me from these thugs!
What?! You're the one who attacked us!
You don't look like you're from here. Identify yourselves.
We...
You can't trust them! They were asking me about Chaos Gates and saying they come from some made-up country!
Made-up!? How dare you! Wintenberg is very much real!
And why should I believe that!? Nobody knows anything about the other continents, it wouldn't be hard to lie!
Suspicious clothing, asking about Chaos Gates even though you're clearly not members of Phantom...and violence against citizens of Taranor!
Haven't I...seen you somewhere?
Huh? What? Me?
Now that I think about it, you did have a general idea of the geography of this place. Have you been here before?
About that...
Wait a minute... Were you fighting for the Archdemon!?
Now you definitely need to identify yourselves!
Rose, what's going on...?
I don't know...! How dare you suggest I fought for the Archdemon! Are you trying to fight me now too!?
If you're not going to cooperate, we have no choice but to arrest you!
Please, at least let us explain ourselves! We don't want to fight you!
What she said! We are peace-loving people! Especially Ceci! She even fought for Ritania AGAINST the Archdemon!
You guys fought in the Archdemon War?
*sighing* Like we said, we're from Wintenberg, in Eureka. An incident with a Chaos Gate led to us coming here.
That's why we're trying to find another one, in the hopes it can take us back. And in the process, we fought against the Archdemon as thanks to the people who have been helping us.
...There have been a few cases of people traveling to other places through Chaos Gates...
So you fought alongside us as well?
Eh? Me? Uhh, I...
I didn't see her myself, but I can promise you she would also have been fighting on our side. I can vouch for her character.
As expected of our Rose! She has always had great pride in her responsibility as a knight!
Heh... Right...! I fought with you when I was in Taranor. Don't you recognize your own comrade!?
Ahem... My deepest apologies for our rudeness, we didn't realize...
Please forgive our misunderstanding. We would never want to insult our sisters-in-arms.
Now are you going to listen to us? This shameless gangster just tried to extort us out of 100,000 Gold for a little informa...
Where did he go!?
He must have taken his chance to escape while we were explaining ourselves.
I guess he realized the guards were no longer going to be on his side.
Urgh, he's going to be in for it if I ever see him again!
Hmm, I was in Taranor for a short while when we were fighting, but it feels like a completely different place now.
The unease of the citizens is almost palpable... Sir Krau is doing what he can to stabilize things, but...
But there are already people seeking to take the throne amid the confusion and outsiders trying to resume research on Homunculi.
That would explain why people were so unwelcoming... I never thought such pain would remain even after defeating the Archdemon.
It's hard to know if you haven't been through it before. The history books only ever record the joys of victory.
But it'll all work out! Things are already so much better than they used to be, and I'm sure they'll only keep improving. This is a transition period, that's all.
I hope so too.
You're looking for Chaos Gates, aren't you? I'm sorry, but hardly any have been seen since the war ended.
As I thought... Do you know anything about the magical barrier, at least?
I'm sorry, but not really, no. Although it does seem as if security has been tightened to the north.
Few can remember a time before the mist, and judging by the lack of news, I can only assume it's still there.
Oh...
So after all that, nobody knows anything!? And that damn swindler was asking for 100,000 Gold!
Don't worry about him, we'll make sure he gets the punishment he deserves.
Then there's only one place left to go.
Where's that? Are you still talking about Chaos Gates?
We've already checked almost every location on the map. If my memory serves me right, that leaves only one place.
We should hurry there then.
3. 7. Land of Faded Stone
50 linesTaranor, Landed of Faded Stone
This is the last place?
Right. If we can't find a Chaos Gate leading to Eureka here...
Whether we start going through the list again or just give up, we're back to square one...
Argh! I'm so fed up! These stupid Gates are the bane of my existence!
I agree...
How much longer are we gonna need to chase after them without even knowing when or where they'll appear?
Pleeeeaaaase please please, can one just open here for us? Is there really no other way?
I'm already tired just thinking about starting over again...
We should stay positive. This area does look a lot like a Land of Death, at least...
Judging by the state of the ground here, it does seem like we have a chance.
We should spread ourselves out to increase our chances, and make a loud noise if we find anything.
Chaos Gates are always surrounded by strange monsters I've never seen before, and this place is full of them.
A Chaos Gate must have opened here several times, but...the traces of any Gates look pretty old...
I know they appear randomly, but maybe a place where a Chaos Gate hasn't appeared for quite a while is more likely than somewhere where one appeared recently.
They were already hard enough to find before, but now even fewer of them are appearing... It was the same in the south.
We need to find one here. As Nemu said, there's nowhere else.
BOOM! *rumbling*
What was that noise? It came from the direction Rose went in...
Did she find a Chaos Gate!?
Rose! Nemu! I'll hold them back, you two run for the Chaos Gate!
No! We aren't going to leave you here!
I'll be right behind you! There aren't many of them left!
But all the dead ones are blocking our way... Urgh, the Gate is going to close before we get to it!
What!? Noooooo!
BOOM!
You've got to be kidding me...
Wow, that wasn't open long.
*sighing* We were too late.
No... No, no, no! That was the first one we've seen in forever!
Come back, you stupid gate! Arghhhhh!
I don't think it can hear you, Rose.
I thought we were finally going home... What do we do?
Let's stay around here a little longer. Maybe another one will open.
We've been standing around here for ages and still nothing...
If one just opened here, doesn't that mean there probably won't be another for quite a while?
It's not like they actually follow any set rules, though...
Which means we have even less of an idea of when one might open...
I suppose. Should we just give up?
Argh! I'm done! I can't keep looking! I'm sick of constantly wandering back and forth like this!
We can't just sit around waiting forever... Is there really no other way than just going back to the start of the list?
You mean the mist between the continents?
But didn't those guards say it was hopeless?
Whether it's hopeless or not, shouldn't we at least have a look for ourselves?
Sitting around worrying won't solve anything.
And I've heard of a man who traveled back to Cidonia by ship, so it's not entirely impossible. Anything we might learn could be valuable.
Hmm... Good points.
Alright then, let's stop wasting our time here and head north!
4. 10. Taranor Northern Border
141 linesNorth Taranor, Magical Barrier
So this is the northernmost part of Taranor?
Meaning if we keep going ahead, we'll also reach the northernmost part of Ritania.
But what if we get lost again? We should find out exactly where we need to go first.
Hmm, good idea. Is there anyone around here we can ask?
Don't those people coming this way look like guards? Maybe they're on patrol?
Hello! Excuse me, but would you be able to give us some directions?
Who are you?
We're from another continent. This place is the most northern part of Ritania, isn't it?
Another continent, eh? Why are you trying to go north?
We want to find out more about this magical barrier, would that be okay? We're not bad people, it's just urgent, and we're so, so tired...
She must be talking about...you-know-what...right?
Sorry, we cannot help you with that.
Huh!? Why!?
I'm afraid we cannot give you any details other than it's not allowed.
Not to mention, your claims of coming from another continent are rather suspicious. Identify yourselves immediately or you'll never be able to go back to wherever you really did come from.
Urgh, why is everyone here so eager to arrest us?
Rose, getting angry again won't help...
I understand why you might find our claims suspicious, but we only want to learn more about this magical barrier. We have no intention of doing anything untoward.
I don't know your circumstances, but we have orders not to allow anyone any farther than this.
But...
Hyaaap...!
Hey! She's running away! Get her!
I told you we can't let you go that way! Stop right there!
R-Rose! Where are you going!? Rooooose!
Nemu...
...Yes?
While the guards are distracted with Rose, we should follow her north as well.
Eh!?
Hurry! We can't lose her!
Ceci, this is a bad idea! Ceeeciiii!
Taranor, Northern Border
*panting* Where are we now? I was running too fast to read any of the signs.
Ahhhh, I'm... I'm gonna pass out... I can't feel my legs.
Phew... I don't see any more guards behind us.
Pah! Did they think they could ever be a match for the proud Dragon Knights of Wintenberg!? Hurry up and tell me I did good, Ceci! Please!
It was a little reckless, but it worked out. Good job, Rose. But...
Where on Orbis are we? There's nothing here but sea...
It certainly looks like the drawings I saw in books back at the Ezera Royal Library. The northernmost tip of Ritania...
Hasn't everyone described it like an invisible wall hidden behind impenetrable mist?
There's mist, sure, but it's pretty thin. I can see all the way out to the horizon. There are no guards around, either. Nothing at all.
It's as if nobody has ever come here. Judging by the sea, it's definitely the edge of the continent, though...
Shall we go and check it out for ourselves then? There's hardly any mist, and the water is fairly calm.
It's perfect weather to go sailing! We might even be able to go straight on to Eureka!
I'm sure it's not as easy as you're making it sound... But it's not like we have any other choice.
But what ship are we going to take? There isn't even a ferry port.
We'll just have to build our own.
Do... Do you know how?
Nope.
...
Well, we won't know if we never try! Besides, Ceci's good at everything, so I'm sure she'll make a great ship!
I think you're overestimating me. Anyway, let's start by looking for some materials.
Okay!
Can we really do this?
There are so many trees by the seaside, is it because nobody ever comes here? They're so tough, too. Must be good for shipbuilding.
We don't have any axes, but I'm sure this sword of mine is more than enough to deal with some trees!
Hyup!
THWUNK
Aha! Just as I expected! You know, this is actually kinda fun. How many more do I need to cut down?
THUNK! CRASH! THUD!
Over here! I found her!
I knew there could only be one cause for all that noise!
They chased us all the way here!?
Wait...! Are you that Dragon Knight from the Wing Brigade!? You fit the description perfectly!
I knew you seemed familiar!
Wasn't she the leader of those thugs who kept causing trouble?
Thugs? What are you talking about?
Dammit, why do they know so much?
Rose! Are you okay?
I didn't expect them to find us so soon. Stand by me!
Ceci! Nemu!
Whether it's the Wing Brigade, being a gang leader, or trespassing, I will make you pay for your crimes!
...Rikoris? This is your first patrol, you shouldn't overexert yourself!
...Wing Brigade? Thugs?
What are they talking about?
Stop talking and fight, you two! He's coming straight for us!
Stop!
S-Sir Krau...?
What's going on here, Rikoris? Why is everything such a mess?
Sir Krau?
Long time no see, Dragon Knight. It seems I've interrupted you in the middle of a fight. I had quite the shock when I saw you.
What's Ritania's foreign savior doing out in this miserable wilderness?
It's quite a long story...
...And that's how you ended up here?
Yes.
I understand the position you're in, Cecilia, but the blonde woman there was a part of the Wing Brigade!
Really!? I thought she looked more like that gang leader...
Perhaps she could have been both?
Hmph, have any of you actually seen me doing those things? Huh!? This is all hearsay!
There must have been a mistake. I have been fighting alongside Rose for many years, I know her.
She is a knight of the highest esteem. I have no doubt that she would never take part in these things you are accusing her of.
Besides, as Rose says, you have no evidence, and even your own claims are inconsistent.
Well, uhh...
I knew you would believe me, Ceci!
Hmm, this is getting interesting. Anyway, it seems you trust her deeply to give her such a spirited defense.
Alright. Since we owe you so much, I'll turn a blind eye to this.
Sir Krau!
Rikoris, go back and get your wounds treated. You seem to have come worst off from this fight. It may even scar.
Thank you for being so understanding, Sir Krau.
This area is currently off-limits to the general public, that's why they tried so hard to keep you away.
But why?
Hmm, it's too soon for me to tell you anything. Most of the details are still top-secret...
But we can't give up again after coming so far...
Okay, fine, it's not as if you'd stop even if I asked you to. It's better to show you and send you off quickly and quietly.
Listen close... We are beginning to receive reports about parts of Eureka being faintly visible on the horizon.
What!?
Eureka? You can see it?
No way...
Haha, sounds hard to believe, right? Well, follow me.
The Northern Edge of Ritania
We really can see it... And it's definitely Eureka?
The compass is pointing directly north. According to any and all records, that landmass can only be Eureka.
We finally found a way home, Ceci!
Our long journey is finally coming to an end... We need to hurry up and build that ship.
You're really going to build your own ship and leave? Right now?
Of course. We've been away from Wintenberg far too long already.
You do know that just because you can see Eureka doesn't guarantee you can actually reach it, right?
We still don't know if the barrier is gone, or that this isn't some kind of illusion. We don't even know if the guy who left for Cidonia actually made it.
How about waiting a little longer until we can finish looking into it? I know I said I'd send you off quickly, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to let you row blindly into danger.
Like you said, we don't know if he made it, but we also don't know if he didn't. Besides, who's to say the barrier functions the same in the north and the south?
We can't afford to wait any longer. I'm willing to take the risk, especially with the mist so thin. Who knows when we might get a better chance?
Someone already took our chance to do it in the south, but wouldn't it be fun if we're the first people to travel north?
Right!? We'll go down in history!
Hahaha! You ladies have some guts. I've heard a lot about the bravery of the Dragon Knights, but still...
Alright then, I'll pay you back for all you've done for us by providing you with a ship.
Really!? You mean it!?
There's no way the three of you alone can collect enough wood and build a ship by yourselves. While we're preparing it, take the time to make your final goodbyes in Ritania.
Thank you so much! I'm sure the world will reward you for this kindness!
I've never regretted my decision to fight in the Archdemon War, but I never expected it to turn into such a blessing. I need to tell the others there's a way back to Lefundos.
Wintenberg, Tundra
For hundreds of years, countless of our family, friends, and comrades have stained this tundra with their blood and tears.
Unless we rid ourselves of these evil creatures that continue to intrude upon Human territory, this hell will never end.
Coexistence can only lead to our own extinction.
As I take up this throne, I vow to destroy them before they destroy us.
From this moment forth, I declare all-out war against Dragonkind!
