Seven years had passed since the fight against Cell.
Thanks to the efforts of Goku and his son, Gohan, Earth was peaceful once again.
A new World Tournament was about to begin.
Goku returned from the Otherworld to participate and had a touching reunion with everyone.
During the tournament, the Supreme Kai arrived with a request for their help in preventing Majin Buu's revival.
Goku and his friends took action and set off for the wizard Babidi's spaceship.
Ungh... Aaaaugh...
While there, however, Babidi managed to manipulate the wickedness in Vegeta's heart and turned him against his friends.
And so, the fight between Goku and the corrupted Majin Vegeta began!
Meanwhile, Gohan and the others had reached Babidi.
Unfortunately, they were too late. The seal was removed, and Majin Buu was revived!

And so, Goten and Trunks decided they would master the art of fusion!
Meanwhile, Babidi and Majin Buu were destroying West City in an attempt to find Goten and the others.
So, while Trunks went to West City to retrieve the Dragon Radar, Goku faced off against Buu!
Hey.
You know, I must give my thanks. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been able to revive Buu!
Vegeta and I underestimated you. We never thought Buu could be this strong.
Eh heh heh heh.
Listen here, Babidi! The three you're looking for will show up soon. You have my word.
So just wait until they arrive! End this senseless destruction and stop killing innocent people!
