But there shouldn't be any Zanpakuto that comes in a set of two.

Ohana gave birth to my short sword Okyo after the fact, after all.

And I'm guessing Mimihagi was an influence in Jushiro's case.

Then...what is the true form of Kazeshini?

Kazeshini isn't a blade at all. The chain connected to the sickles is the true Zanpakuto.

(What is that? A Bankai that makes its wielder immortal?)

It probably would've been nice to have a flashy Bankai that could down my enemies like the ones Ichigo or Captain Hitsugaya have, but it looks like I'm just not cut out for that sort of thing.

At the end of the day, I'm just scared. I'm scared of dying, and ever since I killed Captain Tosen, I've been scared of killing, too.

That's probably why my Bankai turned out to be this troublesome.
