1. Before the battle
8 linesWe can start after you sober up, if you'd prefer.
Nope, we can go now. I'd actually prefer to do it while my blood's pumpin'.
Sorry you have to witness this, Shunsui.
Are you sure about this? I don't know who you are, but there are other ways to become a captain, you know.
I don't intend to waste my breath on you, Captain Shunsui Kyoraku.
(So, he knows my name, huh?)
You be careful, now. He doesn't look like he's just here to die or show off.
I know. This should be fun.
2. After the battle
10 linesSo, do we both agree on the conditions of this fight to the death?
Call this a duel instead, will ya?
I don't really know what kinda person you are, or even how strong or weak you are.
If we're putting our lives on the line, we should expose each other's limits, right?
I hate wasting time talking about this, but fine. Are you ready for our duel, then?
Let's just say I was born ready.
Good.
With this, your life won't go to waste.
Moments later, Kenpachi Kuruyashiki's body was cut to pieces
Once Central 46 acknowledged that the 7th Kenpachi was indeed dead, the name was then passed on to the stronger Soul Reaper
