3-3 At the Execution Grounds

When are they going to fill this hole? They should really make better use of the land here.

It is a historical site of sorts, I guess. Maybe they left it as a reminder of the things that went on here, so we don't repeat them.

Is that what you think? Considering your fight here, I find it hard to believe that the cycle of violence was broken.

You could have won, were you not distracted by your inane desires.

You say that like you saw what happened yourself.

Ganju Shiba said it to you as well, did he not? After you told him that his face gained some semblance of beauty when his life was threatened.

He said, I believe, that you were twisted.

The Soul Reapers used the Hollows in their sick circus act here.

How abominable and foolish. Soul Reapers exist to destroy Hollows. Nothing more, nothing less.

And live like some kind of machine? Where's the beauty in that?

Let me just say one thing.

I don't know who you are, or why you split Ikkaku and me up.

However, as long as you wear the coat that should only be donned by Captain Zaraki, you are my enemy.

Huh?!

I apologize for making you think I did that to insult the captain of Squad 11, but let me clear something up to prevent any unnecessary discussion.

Zaraki is in no way the rightful successor of this coat.

He has no claim to the Kenpachi name in the first place, as he's never defeated a true Kenpachi.

I have absolutely no intention of giving the Kenpachi name to someone who couldn't even defeat Ichigo Kurosaki, especially when Ichigo had not even acquired his Bankai.

Bloom, Fujikujaku!
