5-3 A Parallel World

Hmm, it would be extremely rude of me to interrupt Ichigo while he's at work, but I really would like to meet with my number one pupil.

Plus, I haven't seen him in nearly two years. Can I really call myself his teacher if I haven't been able to see his growth?!

No, of course not! If a pupil has ambition, we teachers must be able to match that in spirit!

Unagiya must be tough work. It takes three years to master skewering an unagi eel, eight to slice it, and a lifetime to grill it, so he's probably just deliv-- Wait.

If I order delivery, then no doubt Ichigo will be the one to deliver it! Then I can meet with him, plus I'll be giving Unagiya money!

This is Unagiya, how can we help you?!

Yes, I'd like to order some unagi eel! Give me your biggest and best special for two!

Huh? The heck are you talking about?! This is Unagiya, not an unagi eel restaurant!

Wh-Whaaat?!

How is it that Unagiya doesn't serve unagi eel? Has the fabric of reality fallen to shreds?

Have I, Misaomaru, entered a parallel world?!

Have I been unknowingly swept up in a case on a scale so grand that my mere mortal imagination could not comprehend it?!

Hrm, or perhaps it has something to do with the skull-faced spirit wandering around Karakura Town?

I must stay focused! I need to find the skull-faced lady as soon as possible!

I was going to give the spirit children a half-day head start, but if the very fabric of reality itself is warping...

...then I cannot let them succeed in the search! They may fall in grave danger!
