1 scenes, 37 lines
1. Before the battle
37 linesThere's still a matter to be settled. My father's revenge!
Shusuke, stop this!
The Head Captain isn't the one who caused the death of your father!
Certainly your father was a victim, but his life was completely consumed by the Bakkouto.
In the Kasumiohji Clan at that time, Gyokaku Kumoi developed the Bakkouto and began doing experiments with them involving test subjects.
When the Head Captain became aware of Kumoi's activities, he attempted to intercede, but he was overruled. The Kasumiohji Clan used their immunity extraterritoriality as a shield, so he was denied the chance to scrutinize Kumoi any further.
Captain Yamamoto. Please, sir, allow me to handle this matter. I shall uncover the secret of the suspicious sword and bring that secret back to you.
At the time, your father was the Head Captain's subordinate and an outstanding and trustworthy student. And so, Genryusai Sensei ordered him in utmost secrecy to conduct a covert investigation.
But sadly...
Stop!!!
Go and kill the person who sent you here.
............
The Bakkouto being developed by the Kasumiohji Clan was kept secret, as was its undercover investigation which defied Central 46's orders.
Due to the sensitivity of the matter, no one involved ever revealed the truth about Shinetsu's death.
So then, he killed my father because...
Think of all the anguish Old Man Yama felt for having to kill his own student. Can you imagine what that felt like?
Then I...
Beware of the Bakkouto.
So you are Shinetsu's son. You are a lot like him.
Head Captain, sir... In all of this, I was a shallow fool, wasn't I?
Why?!
This man still has his dignity to uphold.
He's a man who attained the rank of captain. He's earned the right to end his life the way he wishes to.
Izuru, forgive me for dragging you into such a selfish personal matter.
I spent the best times of my life together with you and the men.
Captain Amagai...
Farewell.
Captain Amagai!!!

Ichigo, I'm truly in your debt for all you have done for us.
If anything should happen and you need our help, we'll be here in no time!
Thank you. That will not be necessary.
Another tragic figure such as Shusuke Amagai must not be allowed to come into existence. My mission is to make sure of that.
The next time you see me, those goals will already be met. You will see.
Sounds good. I know you can do it.
Ichigo, farewell! Until we meet again!
