Miraculous Contest Scouting!

*pant pant*

OK! That's it for today's workout!

I sure worked up a sweat!

Looks like your daily workouts are really starting to show results!

Th-that was...really tough...

Lisia, you do this workout every day?

Yup! Every day since I got here, without fail!

In order to really shine, you have to put in the effort and hard work!

That's why I'm able to keep on trying, no matter how hard things get!

Because I really want to shine as bright as I can!

I can relate to that feeling of wanting to pursue beauty!

You're brimming with energy, Lisia!

Your efforts are impressive! I see why Chaz sees you as his rival!

Hey, Brawly!

Ready to go?

Time for some special training! Hoo! Hah!

I made plans to train with those guys, so I guess I'll see you later!

Hold on, Brawly!

Could I join that special training, too?

Whaaat?!

Fine by me! You sure, though? It's pretty tough!

Of course! My toughness is what I'm trying to polish right now!

I mean, I'm sure their training will help you toughen up...

But if you keep this up, you'll end up a Battle Girl before you know it...

Whoa! You surprised me!

Oh! Hi there, Flannery!

Lisia and Drake?!

It's a little strange to see you two together. You're so far apart in age, and you don't really have anything in common...

What do you mean? We're both Dragon-type Trainers.

Isn't that right, Ali? Salamence?

I understand what you mean, Flannery.

However, I've been observing Lisia's progress as a Trainer for a while now.

Even through the TV screen, I could see her dedication when it comes to contests.

I observed in her a great deal of passion, grit, pride, and ambition, to say nothing of her genuine sincerity!

Of course, the Pokémon League and contests are held on very different stages...

but our aspiration to be number one remains the same!

Oh, I see! So that's what you have in common!

Tee hee! I didn't realize you were such a big fan!

But you know, I'm definitely going to keep giving my all in contests, but it's not like I've given up on the league, either!

One day, I'll be strong enough to take you on, Drake!

Wahaha! That's the spirit!

I'll be waiting for the day you challenge me on my stage, Lisia!

Gladion, do you know who that girl is? She's that famous contest idol, Lisia!

Yeah, I've heard of her.

But I'm not interested in contests. Or her, for that matter.

Oh, for real?

I think you two are kinda similar, though!

Hmph. As if.

No, really! Look, see that pose she's doing?

Lisia does that all the time! Her fans love it!

It kinda reminds me of you!

Wh-what? No way! My pose isn't for working up a crowd!

Hiiiii! You, over there!

Whoa! She came over to talk to us!

I saw your pose just now! It was suuuper cool!

If you busted it out at a contest, I bet the audience would go wild!

You mean...THIS pose?

Heh. So you recognize the inherent greatness of this pose... Not bad.

Oh! But you know what? You could definitely improve it a bit!

If you adjust the angle of your hand like so, the audience will have a better view of it, and...tada!

I see...

Just as I thought, you two DO have a lot in common!

Hilda! Thanks to you and everyone else, we're ready for a suuuper-exciting contest!

I scouted so many promising sync pairs!

Really? That's great, Lisia!

I'll be rooting for you! Break a leg!

Tee hee! Oh come on, Hilda! Don't think I'm gonna let you stay in the audience!

What do you mean?

Lisia's...Miraculous...Contest Scouting!

Whoa! Hold on a second! Whaaat?!

I think I'll name your story...

"Newcomer Debut: Miracle Idol Battle Girl!"

How's that?

M-me?! But this is way too sudden!

You'll be fine! I'll teach you everything I know about contests!

Challenging yourself to try to do new things is important, isn't it?

I mean...I guess, but...

O-OK! In that case, I'll just have to give it a shot! If I'm joining the contest, I'm in it to win!

Next stop: Contest Idol!

Yeah! Hilda's new story begins today!

I'm looking forward to seeing you in the spotlight, Hilda!
