Welcome to Pasio Academy!

Welcome to Pasio Academy!

Today, you'll be joining us to see if you'd like to enroll, correct?

Before we begin the tour, allow me to tell you about the academy.

Pasio Academy was established thanks to the cooperation of many people and Pokémon.

Its founding principle is to share the plentiful, high-quality experiences and knowledge of those here on Pasio.

I'm sure you'll find many learning opportunities here, [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="Master" F="Miss" ] Scottie.

Oh? That must be...

Scottie, right? The one doing a trial enrollment?

Master Ilima, Miss Lacey. I appreciate that you've arrived ahead of schedule.

Today, these two will be showing you around the academy.

Master Ilima is a graduate of a Trainers' School in the Alola region.

He's also the captain of Melemele Island.

Miss Lacey is a student at Blueberry Academy in Unova.

Her skill and rank in her school's BB League has earned her a spot in their Elite Four.

These two are both model students here on Pasio as well.

Thanks for having me today! I look forward to getting to know you better!

I'll support you any way I can so that your academy experience is enjoyable!

Master Ilima, Miss Lacey, thank you again for doing the academy tour.

Don't mention it!

I hear Scottie's quite famous here on Pasio...

so I was hoping for a chance to work with [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="him" F="her" ]!

I'm honored to help spread the word and get people excited about the academy.

It's like a study abroad program where Trainers from many regions can learn together!

I think it's wonderful, what Pasio Academy is trying to achieve!

I myself was able to expand my horizons by studying abroad in Kalos.

So I think you too will view the world differently after being here, Scottie!

Let's get this show on the road and take a look around campus, shall we?

I do hope you enjoy your time here, [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="Master" F="Miss" ] Scottie.

Off you go!

Students seem to like hanging out in this courtyard here during breaks.

Everyone's relaxing and having a good time!

Scottie!

So you joined the academy too, huh!

Um... Are you interested in their uniforms?

Ehehe! Aren't they great?

You can wear your own clothes to school, but they'll give a uniform to anyone who wants one!

You can wear it as is, like Rosa...

Or you can play around with it, like Rei did!

The school rules, including the dress code, reflect the wishes of the students who helped establish the academy.

Seeing what everyone wears to school is gonna be SO much fun!

Being together in a group like this reminds me of life in the Survey Corps back in the Hisui region.

I have to do my best so I can get a Full Star rating on my schoolwork, too.

The Hisui region... That's what Sinnoh was called in the past, right?

I've heard about your situation, Rei.

Learning history from someone who experienced it firsthand would be amazing!

You know, that IS true...

Also, that Pokémon of yours looks a little different from the Braviary in Unova. Does that mean...

Yup! This Braviary is from Hisui.

Those fluffy feathers...and those eyelike markings... They're super cute!

Hear that, Braviary? You got a compliment!

Back in Hisui, we had Braviary that worked as Ride Pokémon.

They helped me out from time to time by flying to me while I was out surveying.

Oh, Ride Pokémon! Interesting!

Back in Alola, Ride Pokémon are a means of public transportation.

Transportation, huh...

Maybe when I'm running late for school, I could have Braviary fly me there.

Late for school? That's just not right!

After that, Scottie saw the rest of the academy...

OK, I think we showed you everything!

Time for you to join a few classes!

They're all interesting, so take as many as you can!

If anything catches your eye, just jump right in!

We've shown you pretty much everything we can for now...

We hope your studies go well!

Looks like you've all learned a lot!

Keep it up, and keep expanding your knowledge!

I'm quite relieved your time here was worthwhile.

However, Pasio Academy's aim isn't to produce students who can get good grades.

This is a place where you can refine your strengths and individuality...

all while fostering a deeper connection with people and Pokémon.

Continue to support each other, to create a place where knowledge can be shared.

That's the type of school I hope Pasio Academy becomes.

Thus, if you see a fellow student struggling, do lend a helping hand.

Director Clavell, wasn't Scottie still on just a trial enrollment?

Oh, goodness. That completely slipped my mind.

What do you think, [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="Master" F="Miss" ] Scottie?

Would you like to officially enroll in Pasio Academy?

Thank you for the enthusiasm.

Yes, of course.

There's no need to rush. Please take your time to think it over.

We plan to help Pasio Academy provide high-quality education.

So when you join us here at the academy...

All of us will welcome you with open arms!

So yer goin' to school even on Pasio, huh.

Yup.

I thought I could learn things I didn't at Blueberry Academy.

I see.

I've already told ya what I think is right and wrong.

Now it's up to you what ya wanna do with it.

Thanks, Daddy, for always letting me do what I want!

Heh! Do what ya want, how ya want!

Just...

Hm?

Just come back to visit from time to time. That's all I ask.

Of course!

Once I make friends on Pasio, I'll introduce them to you!

And on top of that, all the classes at the academy have been so fascinating!

Seems you're having fun, Rosa.

Since you've such passion for learning...

why don't you try teaching sometime?

By helping students understand your subject, you can learn something new.

I see... I hadn't thought of it that way!

But what could I teach?

Maybe I can talk about the time I battled Team Plasma!

And I could act it out to make it more interesting.

That wouldn't really be a class anymore, would it?

Well, I wanna do something unconventional!

There MUST be more ways to teach a class!

Yeah, you may be right.

I think I learned something new from you, yet again!

Rei and Nate were flying around Pasio with their Braviary...

Our Braviary were neck and neck!

Yeah! Your Braviary's impressive, Rei!

Of course! He's been with me since my Hisui days!

That's awesome!

I'm amazed by your strength in battle and your connection with your Pokémon!

You're just as talented, Nate, and you've such a strong bond with your Pokémon!

At least that's what I thought when I battled you at the Neo Champion Stadium.

Sure, but that's a separate matter.

I've always admired you, Rei!

I'd love to hear more of your stories from Hisui and the battles you had!

Of course! Ask me anything.

Let's set up another time to chat and train together!

I believe you can learn in more ways than just sitting in a classroom!

I agree!

There's so much to learn from other experiences.

As captains back in Alola, we'd stick totem stickers all around the islands.

Stickers?

Yes! Really, if I had to describe them, I'd say they're stickers for helping trial-goers on their island challenge.

If young trial-goers collected those stickers as they traveled and followed the path they indicated...

they'd quite naturally progress along their island challenge!

That's so interesting!

I once designed a maze that requires the use of Nosepass's magnetism.

Scottie helped me with it!

I wonder if students would enjoy learning at the academy as well...

if we created more experience-based classes.

There must be a way!

Maybe we should brainstorm!

Yeah! We may be from different regions, but as fellow Trainers' School students...

let's make the most of what we've learned so far!

I want to be sure you walk away with a proper understanding that cuteness is real strength!
