Let's Form a Club!

Pasio Academy... I'm liking the new feel of this school!

They're offering classes on the cultures and characteristics of the different regions, too!

I'm sure that's made possible by all the people and Pokémon from across the world who've gathered here on Pasio, an island of dreams!

We have to thank Director Clavell and everyone from Team Star who helped kick-start it!

I'd like to do more than just attend classes, though, like some extracurricular stuff!

I just got to Pasio, so I can make more friends that way!

Then the only thing to do is start your own club!

Club activities, huh? Sounds fun!

Right?!

Hm? How do I know Florian?

We were in the same class the other day. I got my Cyclizar from Florian, too!

Hearing her dream of livening up her hometown in Galar made me want to cheer her on!

Penny's from Galar too, so I couldn't help but feel a connection.

I won't let your cheers go to waste, Florian!

I wanna support everyone during their time at the academy too, so I started a cheer club!

You two wanna join?

Oh yeah! Clubs!

I want to, but...

I'm so busy with my research, I don't know if I'll have time.

Research?

Yup! People of all regions are gathered here on Pasio, right?

So I want to research strange phenomena and folklore from all over the world!

I guess one could call it paranormal studies!

Interesting!

So why don't you just make a paranormal studies club, Florian?

Aha! If I work with fellow enthusiasts, we could become friends!

Then you gotta talk to our teachers. You'll need a club supervisor!

Yeah, I'll talk to them right away! Thanks, Marnie!

I wonder who could be our supervisor.

Wow! A paranormal club? Sounds exciting!

I'll give you an application form. All you have to do is fill in the required fields and hand it in.

As for your supervisor... I wish I could, but...

No worries! Thanks for your time!

Sorry. Besides my teaching, I have my Pokémon research too, so...

Florian!

I'd be happy to do it, if you like!

What?! Really?

Yeah. Besides, I might be able to help you out, considering your club's theme.

Morty teaches classes on Ghost-type Pokémon and Johto myths.

With his knowledge, he'd make a great supervisor!

That'd be fantastic! I'd love to have you as a supervisor!

Happy to help! Looking forward to it, Florian!

Sounds like Typhlosion will help, too.

Wow! What a strange aura your Pokémon has!

That Pokémon...

I met this Typhlosion in a "space-time distortion" that occurred on Pasio.

We formed a sync pair thanks to the help of other Hisui Trainers.

Space-time distortion... I've heard of that!

That's when time and space from different points align, causing powerful wild Pokémon to appear!

It seems strange phenomena like that happen often on Pasio.

I'd love to research stuff like that in our paranormal club!

That's the spirit!

A few days later...

Congrats, Florian!

I heard the club got approved!

Yeah! Now we can get things rolling!

I'm gonna recruit more members right away!

Sounds like things are picking up, Florian!

We've already gotten a few requests from folks interested in joining.

Hey, club president! Hey, Morty! I'll help recruit!

The club already has members, eh?

I'm Rei! Nice to meet ya!

By the way, have you heard about the seven mysteries of Pasio Academy?

The academy's only just opened, but stories are already spreading among the students.

Looks like we already have a great research topic, before we even have many members!

Hahaha! You're right!

All right, club! Time for our first project!

You got this!

I'll be cheerin' you on with everything I got!

How's the club goin', Florian?

It's great!

We're slowly getting more mysteries to research... and more members!

Florian and the others have been working so earnestly, it's been rewarding for me too.

Great! Glad you're havin' fun!

We have so many topics to research, both inside and outside the academy!

Which are you most curious about?

Let's see... Maybe the mystery motorcyclist that appears in the schoolyard at night?

Oh... That's become a rumor?

Huh? Do you know something about it?

Sorry. That might've started 'cause of me.

I've been practicing riding Cyclizar!

Wha, ?! So the mystery motorcyclist isn't actually paranormal?!

Looks like another academy mystery solved!

Marnie, those alterations to your uniform are so cool!

Right? I'm really likin' what I did with it!

I based it on some recommendations from my Galar friends and folks here on Pasio.

I'm sure to get good marks if I wear this while studyin'!

For sure! I get so hyped when I wear my uniform!

Altering your uniform to make it one of a kind...

At my school in Paldea, some students were able to show off their individuality, just like Team Star!

I did try changing up my accessories, like hats and bags...

But I didn't do anything drastic like alter my uniform.

Wanna give it a try?

Changing your uniform can make a big difference in how you feel!

Yeah, sounds fun! Maybe we can alter them together sometime?

And take our partner Pokémon out for a ride around Pasio, too!

Nice! It's a promise!

I'll have to practice with Cyclizar to get even better at riding her!

I sure was shocked when I met Typhlosion in a space-time distortion.

Thanks for helping me out with that, Akari. I couldn't have done it without you!

No problem!

You already had Typhlosion secured by the time we got there, anyway!

I guess what else could I expect from a Gym Leader who specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon!

*chuckle* Thanks!

Ever since I met Typhlosion and started learning more about Hisuian Pokémon...

I've been thinking about how exciting it can be to meet an unfamiliar Pokémon! It never gets old, no matter how many years go by!

As a teacher at Pasio Academy, I want to teach everyone the joys of learning.

I'm also wearing this outfit to get folks interested in Johto culture.

I'm hoping my students can learn more about Johto and Ghost-type Pokémon, even just a little!

I'd love to learn about a region I never knew before!

Sure! You're welcome to take my class!

Typhlosion and I will be waiting for you, so come anytime!

Starting at a new school is so exciting! It's like starting an adventure, isn't it?

Yeah!

Of course, it can be scary starting over in an unfamiliar place...

But it's also fun because you might encounter something new!

Totally!

For example, even if you took two different lessons about the same Pokémon...

You could still get a fresh take and learn something new, because Pasio and Paldea folks have different opinions and teaching methods.

To compare it to Pokémon battling, it's like when you're forced to change up your moves and strategies.

I can relate to that...

It's tough, but it's more than just that.

Overcoming a challenge can give you a feeling of accomplishment. That's what makes taking on something new so fun!

We're both learning in a land unknown to us, so that's something we have in common! I think we'll get along just fine!

Yup!

From now on at Pasio Academy, we'll gain new knowledge and experience...

and have fun seeing how many friends we can make!

Hm... The facilities are all in order.

And I don't see any issues with the curriculum.

You've been going around inspectin' the academy a lot lately, huh?

Haven't you loads of other things to do? You gonna be OK spendin' this much time at the academy?

Hmph! Your concern is unnecessary!

My other tasks have settled down, is all!

Really? But...

That aside, tell me! Have you experienced any inconveniences during your time at the academy?

Huh? Well... I guess nothing comes to mind.

Heh. Good to know.

Hmm... Come to think of it, did the library have enough books?

Excuse me. I must go now! Hahahahaha!

Well, he seems to be enjoyin' himself... But is he really OK?

His retainers said he has so much to do, he hasn't had much time to rest.

I guess he's keen on checkin' out the academy in person, even if he IS busy.

I've gotta be just as dedicated!

If I'm gonna study at school, I reckon it's fair to want a few good marks, don't y'think?
