A Knight's Duel

A few days before the day of the Battle of the Golden Spheres...

This may just be practice for the Battle of the Golden Spheres, but a duel is a duel!

We'll be coming at you with no holds barred. Are you sure this is what you want?

Of course! We're ready to take you on!

Very well! Then let us begin!

Whoa, two knights are battling it out! So Diantha's with Keldeo and Wikstrom's using Aegislash?

I can tell this is gonna be an exciting battle!

You are formidable, but victory shall be ours!

Keldeo and I will unleash our moves with a force unrivaled! En garde!

Look at Diantha! She's so cool!

Good luck, both of you!

Never surrender! Our true power only starts here!

Aegislash! Swing thy blade with all the strength you can muster!

Counter their attack, Keldeo! Victory will be ours to claim!

Phew! I suppose we can end it here.

That was a fantastic battle! Your attacks still resonate through my soul!

Your teamwork with Aegislash was very impressive, too!

Thank you so much for joining me in this practice session!

Hey! Those were some sweet moves you had going on there!

And not just your battling moves...

Your acting was really amazing, too! What a performance!

Why, thank you for your kind words, Professor!

Did we really have to act throughout this battle, though? It's not as if we're on camera or stage...

Well, since we're wearing costumes for this event, I figure it's best to let everyone enjoy it, right? Especially if our goal is to promote Pasio.

I hope that I can get even more people to watch my battles...not just as a Champion but as an actress, too!

Based on the looks on everyone's faces now, I'd say you're right on track to do just that!

I sure hope so!

We still have some time before the event. I'll keep polishing up my moves until then!

What a hardworking lass you are!

Oh! I may have spotted a worthy opponent!

Ahem.

You, sir, in the armor! Are you not a warrior of the mightiest caliber?

I challenge you to a duel! Why not test your strength against mine?

What did you just say?!

*gasp* Oh, what a treat! Another chance to watch Diantha battle!

Diantha! You're the best!

Hmph. As if I'd back down from you callin' me out in front of all these people!

I accept this battle! Bring it on!

You have my gratitude. Are you ready?

That's the match! It's Diantha's win.

Guzma! What is wrong with you?!

You should've let Buzzwole cut loose and destroy everything!

Argh, a loss is a loss. I gotta admit, you won this round.

But you'd better be prepared for us to crush you at the event!

Of course. I'll remember that.

Now that's what I call a battle!

Diantha, you were absolutely stunning!

The audience seems even more hyped up than when we have battles at the Pokémon League!

I suppose that makes sense. Battling as Champion can sometimes stifle the flair of things, as there's a certain way we're expected to act.

Ah, I think I understand what you mean! Wearing different hats can be tough, yeah!

Hm? How would you know that, Professor?

Uh...I mean, I'm a Professor...but also a Trainer, yeah? So it's like I have to live a double life!

Oh, I see. I suppose you're right!

Are you gonna be acting as a knight until the event starts?

*chuckle* That would be a bit much, even for me!

I'll make sure that Diantha the Knight shows up again at just the right moment!

That seems like an excellent plan.

That way, on the day of the event, I can show everyone the finest acting and battling I have to offer!
