Today, I'd like to share a legend that's been passed down in Ecruteak City.

Around 150 years ago...

there was a tower called the Brass Tower.

But one day, lightning struck and started a fire that burned most of it down.

Three nameless Pokémon were caught in the flames.

And as for those three Pokémon that perished in the fire...

they were given new life!

They were given the names Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, and they joined the ranks of Johto's Legendary Pokémon.

It's said that Raikou embodies the lightning that fell on the tower; Entei, the flames that burned it...

and Suicune, the rain that quelled the fire.

And that's the legend from Ecruteak City!
