They're part of a tradition in Alola called the island challenge! Basically, all children go through it and complete a bunch of trials!

And we, the Trial Captains, are the ones who decide what kinds of trials they are!

I guess it's similar to gathering badges in other regions.

Yes. However, it's not just your skills in battle that get tested.

It's gonna be a new, updated version of the trials we had on Akala Island. We're calling them the Pasio trials!
