Oh, so that's where this was!
*Clack*
Phantom pulls something out of a dusty box.
What's that?
It's called...
Phantom lifts up a game cartridge dramatically.
"MIDNIGHT PHANTOM RUNNER"
?
It's a simulation I had custom-made a long time ago.
I made it so that new phantom thieves could train in safety.
I take the cartridge.
... Are these drawings supposed to be the Thieves of Justice?
The cartridge has drawings of what are clearly Phantom, Miranda, and Quency.
Indeed. This cartridge is truly one-of-a-kind.
I asked the creator to make a very difficult phantom-thief simulator for the Thieves of Justice.
Ooh...
I look over the game cartridge.
So you're going to make Yukiko, Teddie, and Aigis train with this?
Precisely.
We must soon go out and catch the phantom thieves who are disturbing the Ark's night.
*Flap*
Here, I've got a manual. You should give the simulator a try too.
It'll help if you're able to impart some of our know-how to the trainees.
Phantom pulls out a piece of paper.
"Fantum Theef Simyulater Manyool"
...
Maybe a verbal explanation would help more than a manu... you know what, never mind.
I'm the type who learns by doing. Yeah.
Oh, excellent idea. There's no better way to learn than by trying for yourself.
It's a fairly simple simulation, so it won't be too hard.
Avoid the Thieves of Justice members and other figures,
run through the Ark at night, and collect coins.
There are lots of helpful items, so be sure to put them to use.
Oh, and eventually the ground you're on will begin to collapse, so you must move quickly.
There's a time limit?
Yes, but it has to do with the in-game lore.
You see, in the simulated Ark, there are all sorts of dark forces scheming behind the scenes...
...
I listen to Phantom's lore dump and prepare to play the simulation.
