Leaf's Idea

According to the map, the spot should be right around here.

It certainly seems like that would be the case...

Hm?

Let's go, Zebstrika!

I'm counting on you, Eevee!

You're every bit as strong as I've heard, Elesa! I'm looking forward to the real match!

So am I. Though getting challenged like that was more than a little startling.

But was it really a good idea to show a potential tournament opponent your strengths and weaknesses?

It's fine, it's fine! Battles are the most fun when you just battle when you want without getting caught up in stuff like that.

Plus...we're both still hiding an ace up our sleeve, aren't we?

Hehe. You may be right.

That was a great battle, Leaf!

Misty! Oh, and Scottie, too! What're you doing here?

Oh, I get it! You came for a battle with me, too, huh?

I'm afraid not. We came to find Elesa, actually.

Me? Oh...

You... Are you Valerie, the designer?

Wha, ? You've heard of me, Elesa?

Of course! We models hold the fashions you create in the highest regard.

I'm glad you found me. There's actually something I'd like to ask you.

Me too. I'm really happy.

Say, Elesa...

Hehe. You sure have an interesting way of thinking about things, Valerie.

One day, I really hope you'll wear one of the dresses I make.

Totally!

Heh. Looks like the two of them are getting along just fine.

By the way, Valerie, about you wanting to become a Pokémon...

Were you serious?

Huh? Of course I was. I absolutely want to be a Pokémon.

I love that!

And I actually know a way... A way to become a Pokémon.

What?! Really?!

Yeah. I'm sure it's exactly the kind of thing you're looking for, Valerie.

You mean it? Can I really, really be a Pokémon?

Yes, if you follow what I say. All right...

Scottie! Have a battle with Valerie right now!

C'mon! It's to help Valerie.

Yeah! I think so.

Valerie, this will be your first battle on Pasio, right? That should do the trick!

Oh, I get it.

Huh? You actually understand what's happening here, Elesa? What does she mean? How will this make someone a Pokémon?

Don't worry about it!

C'mon. It's time to battle with all your might!

Hmm. I still don't really understand, but I'm up for it if you are, Scottie.

The elusive Fairy types may appear frail as a breeze and delicate as a bloom, but they are strong.
