We call it the Sync Pair Pinger! It's a new invention that we came up with.

When activated, the machine's antennae scan the area for sync stones and ping the locations of strong sync pairs.

It then releases a special odor in the direction of those locations, one that is particularly appealing to strong Pokémon.

Those strong Pokémon will then be lured to the machine...

...With their Trainers in hot pursuit until they both wind up here!

Ah, sorry. I guess we're a little too excited about our new invention. We could go on about it for days!
