The Stage Awaits

I lost, but...

How do I put this...? When I used my sync move...

it felt like I was one with Sylveon.

What was that feeling?

That was the feeling of...being a Pokémon.

It was the feeling of your hearts becoming one. That's the answer.

Sync moves happen only when a Trainer's heart and mind are in sync with their Pokémon's.

In that moment, your hearts are connected and beat as one.

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but that's what it means to become a Pokémon here on Pasio.

That's what it means to become a Pokémon...

I see. On Pasio, you and your Pokémon can unite your hearts and minds, and when you do, it feels like you've become your Pokémon.

My, that's wonderful. Just wonderful. I'm really interested in Pokémon battles on Pasio now.

Fwahaha! Glad to hear it, Valerie!

Hee hee. It's good to see Valerie so happy. Thank you, Leaf.

Of course! I can't have anyone trying to actually turn into a Pokémon like Bill did.

Though I guess that'd be interesting in its own way.

I'm in your debt, everyone. Thank you.

It might be a bit too soon, but I'd like to get even closer with Sylveon right away.

Elesa, would you please do me the favor of battling me?

A battle with you? Totally!

Actually, Valerie, you should think about joining Scottie's team.

Huh? Why's that?

The round three pairings for the finals were just revealed. My team is battling...

Scottie's team!

What?!

Our opponent is Elesa...

Hee hee. That's right. Our shining battle will be on the stage of the PML...

So, your team will get to battle with Elesa next, Scottie?

Oh my! I suppose I'll just have to join your team then, won't I?

That way, I can have a battle with Elesa on the greatest stage imaginable!

Oh, well, only if that's all right with everyone else.

Of course! It's certainly a bit sudden, but we'd be glad to have you, Valerie!

Really?

Fwahahaha! It seems we've gained yet another strong-willed ally.

We welcome you with open arms! Isn't that right, Scottie?

Scottie...

Thank you. Sylveon and I will do our best!

Scottie...

I'm counting on you, too, Scottie...

Hee hee. I think we'll get along quite well.

I'll be waiting for you in round three, then.

I should get going, too. My teammates are probably waiting for me.

Don't go losing now, OK? I'm looking forward to a battle with you, too!

See you around!

Elesa... And Leaf is still in the running, too...

After their battle, Elesa and Leaf both talked about how they still had an ace up their sleeve. I'm eager to see what they meant.

Me, too. I'm really looking forward to the coming battles.

I want to go all out, too, so let's be sure to give it everything we've got.

Yeah! We'll take down any team that dares to take us on!

I'm sure we can do it together!
