Dancing Fate in the Card Deck Preview

Now, a question for all of you out there!

How would it feel to possess the power to read fate itself?

Today's tale is of a phantom who can do just that.

When Shaydi sought Alice's reading for a grand upcoming event, she agreed and drew her cards...

But what do you know? The cards came out blank!

Shaydi was pleased, taking it as a sign of some great, unknowable event, while Alice's curiosity only deepened.

The next day, when Espi spoke of a troubling dream about Yggdrasil, Alice felt a feeling of foreboding.

To confirm her fears, she set off for the Sprite Kingdom to divine the fate of Yggdrasil.

Though chased away by the Head Priestess, Alice refused to give up.

With tricks befitting a phantom, she finally reached Yggdrasil and began her card reading.

Only for something unbelievable to unfold before her very eyes!

The cards you're holding right now... Are they supposed to be blank?

What...?

The pictures on my cards... they're all gone... the cards are all blank...

Eeeeeeeeek!!!!! What's happening?!

Alice... you're just joking, right? I... Ughhh...

I can't do this anymore! Let me out! Where's the key?! Give it to me!

The key...? Where did I put it? Uhh... I'm sure I put it in my pocket...

Open the door right now! I'm outta here!

Eeek, calm down! I'm looking for it!

What in the world is going on right now?! Answer me, Alice!

I don't know what's going on, but...

I don't think it wants this...!

Doesn't want this?

I don't know... Yggdrasil? Or some higher entity?!

Whatever it is, it doesn't want us to foresee the future of Yggdrasil!

That's the only answer that explains all this!

You mean Yggdrasil has its own will? Or are you saying there's someone above it?

I don't know! If I knew, I wouldn't have come all the way here in the first place!

I've never experienced anything like this!

Black and white... two sides of the same fate...?

What could this possibly mean?

When Alice awoke from fainting in terror, she could no longer tell what was real.

But whether she truly forgot... or only pretended to...

Well... that, no one knows... Mhm!

That's all for today's tale, "Dancing Fate in the Card Deck!"

Would anyone like to have Alice do a card reading for them?

If so, cast your vote right here, right now!
