It happened around the time I left Kalos on a journey to train myself.

I had just finished roller skating practice and was about to take a break...

Then, all of the sudden, Marshadow popped right out of my shadow!

I was so surprised, I almost fell over!

Before I knew what was going on, Marshadow began mimicking my movements.

At first I was frustrated. I felt like my moves were being stolen.

But then I realized, the fact that Marshadow was mimicking me...

must mean that it had taken an interest in me!

I began to feel flattered!

I took an interest in Marshadow as well, and I wanted to befriend it right away.

Now we're a terrific sync pair, and we keep on motivating each other to get even better!

Hey... C'mon, Marshadow! How long do you plan on hiding? Come on out!

No, that's not it.

No, of course not!

My Marshadow is just a bit shy.

I don't think it's scared or dislikes you or anything like that!

In fact, if Marshadow didn't like you, it wouldn't try to mimic you.

I love every part of Marshadow's personality, even when it's shy!
