A Day with Ilima

After being approached by Ilima, Scottie joined him in a Pokémon battle.

The battle ended in victory for Scottie.

I'm glad for the chance to test out my new tactics, too!

Ever since I arrived on Pasio, I've been exploring new battle strategies especially suited for sync pairs.

When battling as a team, it's important to position yourself well so you don't interfere with your allies.

That's why I was simulating how to maximize power while minimizing movement!

However, that seems to have led to my defeat...

Looks like when trying to keep still, Gumshoos and I still can't make the most of our strengths.

Indeed. However, when things don't go according to plan, it only makes me want to try again!

You're right. That's what's fun about Pokémon battles, isn't it?

I'll take this as a challenge to come up with another strategy!

Oh? I wonder if the sun going down is making him sleepy.

Gumshoos are resilient Pokémon, but they're diurnal, so by the time the sun sets, they tend to run out of energy.

It's part of his nature, so I'd rather not push him.

Maybe it'd be best to battle in the afternoon, when Gumshoos can give it his all.

Would you mind battling me again when Gumshoos can best put his strength to use?
