On [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="his" F="her" ] way to explore the island, Scottie passed by the town square.

There, [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] saw Roxanne and Marley challenging the Masked Royal to a battle!

The Masked Royal

Hey, you! Wanna jump in on a battle with me?

I just got challenged, y'see, and I'm looking for another partner to join me in the ring!

Good answer! Let's do it, then! Ready...fight!

Scottie gave [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="his" F="her" ] all as part of the team!

Roxanne

Whew... Those were some impressive combinations you came up with!

Marley

You had incredible teamwork. It's hard to believe that was your first time battling together. I had a lot of fun...

The Masked Royal

Woo! Looks like we snagged the win! But your team had some really sweet moves that nearly had us on the ropes!

Thanks for battling us with your full strength!

You two were awesome out there, too!

Yeah! Lots of people watching us started to cheer us on!

The fact that Incineroar was into it means it was an excellent battle!

My Incineroar gets pumped up whenever the crowd watching us gets excited!

If the audience isn't feeling it, he loses motivation and can't battle at his best.

A good battle excites not only the Trainers battling it out in the ring but also the spectators watching them!

Glad you agree! I'll keep making all my battles as exciting as that!

Me too! And I'd like to keep having lots of battles as exciting at that!

Here on Pasio, we can enjoy a new style of battling.

Team battles are great because you can battle lots of different Trainers and cooperate with your teammates at the same time!

I'm gonna take on each and every battle with everything I've got! That's why I wear this mask!

What are you talking about? I'm the Masked Royal! Maybe you're mistaking me for some professor you know?

Who's this Kukui guy? I'm the Masked Royal! You must be mistaking me for someone else!

Let's stand in the same ring again soon! Even if we're opponents next time, let's battle to our fullest!
