A Day with Sina

Scottie was outside with Sina, who had insisted that [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="he" F="she" ] accompany her.

Sina had chosen [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="him" F="her" ] as her training partner and would not let [EN:Gen Ref="255" M="him" F="her" ] leave until she was satisfied.

The way you battle is magnificent! So fierce and yet so elegant.

You know, I invited you to train with me today for a number of reasons, Scottie.

Firstly, I wanted to learn more about how you and your partner operate as a sync pair.

After sparring for a bit, I've come to appreciate the beauty of your skills.

As well as your mind, of course.

My second reason for inviting you was to learn more about sync stones.

Back in Kalos, Trainers can equip something called a Key Stone...

which will react to the strong bonds they share with their Pokémon to trigger Mega Evolution.

On Pasio, sync stones enable Mega Evolution...

and they also make it possible to use sync moves, which are similar to Alola's Z-Moves.

If you think about it, sync stones are converting the bonds between Trainers and their Pokémon into energy.

That would explain how they make it possible to use Mega Evolution or unleash special moves!

Oh? Have I impressed you?

Haha! No need to be so shocked!

I used to research all kinds of things with Glaceon and Dexio, you know.

And we helped out young Trainers even as we researched.

People and Pokémon need to support one another, after all.

Glaceon and I have been working together since even before we came to Pasio.

She's an excellent partner who always understands how I'm feeling.

I had one more reason for inviting you to train with me. Care to guess?

The answer, of course, is to stimulate further growth for me and Glaceon!

I hope we'll have the chance to spar with many other sync pairs!

New encounters help people and Pokémon grow and mature!

By exploring a place as novel as Pasio with Glaceon and Dexio...

I hope we'll open up a brand-new world the likes of which we've never seen before!
