A Day with Sygna Suit Lysandre

Scottie spotted Lysandre in the mountains at dawn.

Lysandre sighed wistfully to himself...

It's you.

When I see that carefree smile of yours, this cloud over me seems to clear slightly.

Look at this view.

Breathtaking, isn't it?

This beautiful landscape, stretching out before our eyes... It's like no other.

Yet there are people who would try to take these resources and land, things that don't belong to anyone.

Whether it's the wealthy or the powers that be...

they try to monopolize parts of the world, as if entitled to them.

This world is teeming with greed.

When I think about it, I can't help but sigh.

Legends surrounding Chi-Yu say it was born from humanity's limitless negative emotions.

It's said that the envy accumulated within curved beads that sparked multiple conflicts clad itself in fire and became a Pokémon.

Which means envy can eventually lead to ugly conflict.

Once a person develops a desire, it becomes nearly impossible to eliminate.

Their flame of greed will burn until they get what they want.

Perhaps it's a curse that has befallen humanity.

You certainly aren't pulling any punches.

You've certainly got me there.

Yes... You're absolutely right.

I myself am driven by my desire to create a beautiful world.

In the end, I suppose I am just as human as those I despise.

I don't know how you see me...

But I can't help but hope for a future free from conflict.

The fire of my convictions and hope for a beautiful world shall not be extinguished!

If some fool were to try to claim Chi-Yu's power...

I would become a force of ruin myself, to deliver justice.
